Forum Etiquette & Behavior

I honestly don't know what happened to some of these old-timers on here. It’s like they woke up one day and decided being helpful was out of style. Every time you ask a question or try to start a real conversation, they just jump down your throat. They mock you, belittle you, and act like they own the place. If you try to stand your ground, the whole pack swarms you. It’s like watching a bunch of angry high schoolers, except instead of a playground, they're sitting behind screens all day because they have nothing better to do. Instead of offering a hand or some solid advice, they just tear people down. And then, somehow, the victim ends up getting banned while they walk away scot-free.

Are you moderators just looking the other way? Or does it actually suit you to let this little clique run the show? I mean, does anyone even remember what a "forum" was originally supposed to be? Think about the history. In ancient Rome, a forum was a place for public discussion and community. Pretty sure the Romans weren't spending their time bullying each other for sport.
And yeah, I can already see it coming. Some self-righteous moderator is going to swoop in, call me names, and claim I’m the problem. They'll say I'm "trolling" or "being provocative" just because I'm pointing out how toxic this is. Typical.

Can someone give me a straight answer? What is the point of any of this?

Honestly, I feel like my last few posts—well, my replies to them—are proof enough of how much disrespect and random trolling is happening. It’s like, if the mods can check my posts to see who I’ve been talking to, why can't they check who’s been coming after me? I’ll go ahead and file a report, and you guys can look into it, but I have a feeling my appeal will be about as effective as a plea to the local DMV...

I don't see any rule violations in these reported posts.
