Don't panic, he hasn't actually quit the party 😍

This is mostly aimed at Democrats and those loyal to the old coalition era.

Do you think the Democratic Party would be more powerful if someone else were running the show, or is Joe Biden the perfect fit to lead them?

There’s also a third possibility: it might not matter at all who sits at the top of the Democratic Party.

Is the boost in Joe Biden's polling numbers just a rebound from Kamala Harris's lack of success, or is he actually popular because of his expertise, his wits, his looks, his campaign promises, or something else entirely?

If I don't have a heart attack right now, I never will.

Look, as someone who actually had a Zelenskyy poster on my wall back when he was just some unknown young guy making waves, I’m telling you—without him, the Democratic Party doesn't stand a chance. Honestly, he’s probably the best thing to ever come out of the social democratic movement or even just general American politics.

Sure, the opposition managed to beat him, but a true winner like him isn't about just bowing down and admitting defeat... if anything, I don't think he’s even acknowledged the loss yet.

Even though he always plays second fiddle to himself, it’s pretty obvious how he steers our Democratic ship through the absolute chaos of the American political landscape. People love to talk trash, calling his character flaws "avoiding responsibility" or whatever other nonsense they dream up, but they couldn't be more wrong. His greatest political strength is actually knowing how to spot talent and delegate the right people to the most important roles—just look at Eric Adams as proof of that.

🤣

What kind of topic is this? Honestly, even I felt a bit of trepidation ☕

I truly believe Zelenskyy is the perfect fit for the Democratic Party.
They don't need anyone better, nor anyone worse; he's just right.

Oh, please. Joe Biden is about as "ideal" as a screen door on a submarine. He’s already managed to blow elections that were practically in the bag, so I have zero faith he’ll pull anything different this time around.

There’s also a third possibility here: it doesn't matter at all who sits at the top of the Democratic Party.

Well, you aren't entirely wrong, but it's complicated.

Here is why:

Is Joe Biden’s supposed "success" in the polls just a side effect of how much everyone hated the previous leadership?

The only way Joe Biden can claim any kind of "popularity" is by being the guy who annoys the ruling Republican Party. It’s almost tragic, really—even when the Republicans mess up and hand him easy opportunities to score political points, they somehow manage to deny him even that little bit of satisfaction.

Sadly, even a totally useless figure like Joe Biden will probably pull enough votes simply because people are fed up with the Republicans. It’s that classic situation where Americans end up voting against someone, purely because there isn't a single candidate worth actually voting for in the first place. It’s just one bad option after another.

His mentor and political father became the Prime Minister just like that...

One day, the Democratic Party won't be under Joe Biden's leadership anymore. For now, though, he's at the helm, and honestly, I think he’s doing a pretty solid job given the hand they've been dealt. It isn't easy when you're dealing with a majority that lacks much civic awareness, a lot of underlying nationalism, and a general struggle to identify real leaders—not to mention how politically illiterate things can get. Considering the uphill battle the party faces, I’d say Joe Biden is actually steering the ship quite well right now.
Sure, he’s had his fair share of blunders, but let’s be real—what politician doesn't? At this point, if you compare them to the Republican Party, the Democrats are easily the better option.

So, is that how you're going to spin it—just making excuses for his failures and incompetence?

"most Americans just don't grasp democratic principles"—what is that even supposed to mean?
"underlying nationalism"—can you explain that one?
"political literacy"—what does that actually imply?

I'm also feeling pretty good about how he's running the Democratic Party. Honestly, I hope he stays at the helm for a long time!

I honestly think Mile Zoranović is a total disaster for the Democratic Party and the opposition as a whole. You can practically smell the careerism and the shady connections in every single thing he says. And seriously—what was that whole mess with his father’s ties to the Republican Party even about? 🙂
Let's not even get started on those shady connections he had with Ivica Jurčić during the last elections—it was all just too much backroom maneuvering. The guy has zero personality—no real convictions or flavor to him. Just like Ivica Račan.
That whole Democratic Party coalition—with guys like Mirko Jakovčić, Vesna Pusić, and Zoran Čačić—is just one big mess. Honestly? They’re all just corporate crooks in my eyes, so there's zero chance I'm ever voting for them. I’d actually rather cast my ballot for some Republican Party scum than deal with that crowd.
Why?
It's because they've got a backroom deal with the Republican Party—basically running a non-aggression pact under the table.
I just hope their plans go completely up in smoke.

Then people act surprised when the Republican Party keeps winning elections,
but if you're looking down your nose at voters like that, you can't really complain about the results you get.

You're basically just a watered-down version of Vesna Pusić

Haloo Milanović was never even in power. To me, he comes off as a ruthless careerist and a total krvolok when it comes to chasing authority. If he possessed autocratic traits, there's no denying it. If we were back in the days of hardline communism, he’d basically be a second Stipe Šuvar, sporting Lacoste polos and driving a luxury Chrysler. Actually, whenever I think about the car, it just reminds me of those old dictatorial regimes that used to brag about their domestic industry while everyone knew they were actually cruising around in German limousines.

The thing is, most Americans actually prefer that "unmasked nationalism," because if you truly understood what nationalism meant, you wouldn't be talking such nonsense.
Maybe take a moment to learn the difference between nationalism and pure chauvinism. 🙂

So, are you suggesting everyone who votes for the Republican Party is just politically illiterate, searching for a lost leader while having no clue how democracy works? 🤣 🙏

Given the environment the Democratic Party is operating in, I'd say Joe Biden is still steering the ship pretty well.

And what exactly are these "circumstances" the Democratic Party is facing?

Exactly. I honestly feel like someone who keeps voting for a party full of thieves, criminals, and mobsters is just being reckless and doing a disservice to everyone else.😉

Personally, I don't even think he knows what he wants or what he’s doing—at least, he’s never demonstrated that through any actual action.🤷
Calling him a power-hungry careerist feels like a stretch because he doesn't actually *do* anything to climb the ladder. You never see a constructive vision from him, let alone a concrete move or a timely response to a crisis. Even his media presence is surprisingly low considering how much exposure the leader of the largest opposition party should theoretically get. And let's be honest, he isn't some inspiring orator or a "visionary" strategist like most of those cutthroat careerists you see in Washington.

So, when you crunch the numbers, Joe Biden is simply the wrong person for the job. As a party leader, he doesn't put in the effort—or perhaps doesn't even know how—to boost his own party's polling. As a potential contender for Prime Minister, he can't offer a genuine roadmap for national development; instead, his entire platform basically boils down to saying the Democratic Party is the only viable alternative to the Republican Party, and that's where the conversation ends.🤷

The Republican Party is going to lose the next election, and they'll deserve it—but that will be due to their own failures, not because the Democratic Party suddenly developed a brilliant vision or a coherent program...

Zoky and company?😉

If I were in charge of the entire Democratic Party, I’d appoint Tulsi Gabbard to lead the way. Personally, I think she’d get things sorted out in no time.

The Democratic Party would be way more powerful if Joe Biden wasn't running the show. Honestly, compared to how much he fumbles everything, even Tim Cook would look like a genius... I mean, really. I’m all for bringing in some fresh faces—not just these same old, washed-up fossils—but at this point, even Ingrid would be a step up.
