The party’s name is pretty ridiculous, and honestly, I doubt they even have a real platform. It feels like they’re just trying to ride the wave of patriotism and national pride to grab power, but it’ll probably end in failure just like all those other groups before them. Just look at what happened with Rojs and his 🤣

If they actually wanted to win, they'd recruit some serious people and put together an actual plan. ☕

Just because someone thinks your handle is stupid doesn't mean they're right, does it? So what? Don't get all worked up just because some Right-wing types are starting to show their faces again. We're going to be seeing a lot more of that soon enough.

...but coming from people like this, I highly doubt it. They haven't actually achieved anything; instead, they're busy presenting views that draw a direct line between patriotism and defending historical fascism. It's a bold move, sure, but maybe they think they can snag a few votes from the radical left wing—that’s always been their style, and they aren't even trying to hide it anymore. 🙂

Harry Potter is famous worldwide and has more fans than you have hairs and blood cells combined, twice over. 🤷🤣🤣 ..
"The formation of the National Guard political party is a response to calls from the Catholic Church—which the public tends to overlook and atheists mock—as it persistently asks for someone to step up to defend American statehood and insist we can't be tied to various regional initiatives, much like how America included Albania, the USA, and America." - This is just ridiculous. I don't think they realize that people are increasingly turning away from the church precisely because it keeps meddling in politics. Plus, they're out there hunting for communists and all sorts of shadow government conspiracies where they don't even exist, just like hebrang, and we all know how "beloved" he is as a politician. 🤣 😉 ... I don't see the point of a party like this. It's not even really Right-wing; it feels more like an anti-modernist group that's still stuck living in the past. 🤷

Ljubica, Harry Potter is a fictional character—I’m not touching the literature, I’m talking about the forum username as an example here. Is that too much for your brain to process?

The rest is just recycled garbage from what I read in the opening post, so it's redundant. Are people rejecting the Church? No. Believers (when we're discussing the Church, everyone else is irrelevant, sorry) simply have divided opinions on *what* is being said, not on the fact that it's being said at all. So, it's an ideological issue, not a matter of faith. How did we get here? Oh, right—the eternal frustration with the Church. Oh, well.

I would say this little party leans on certain Right-wing ideas in some segments, but primarily it's just regressive, and despite clinging to the Church, it's deeply anti-Christian. Based on what I can see from the provided info, I honestly wish them nothing but the worst.

I know exactly what you meant regarding the username. It isn't just frustration; there are actual political parties tied to faith, like the Democratic Party, and you can clearly see the difference between them and these people.

Fine.

Look, my point is that this party has zero connection to faith—at least not Christian faith. If there’s a single decent soul left in their ranks, maybe someone could teach them a little bit about the Catholic Church's stance on ending a human life through ungodly intervention, especially since they’re so aggressively pushing for the death penalty. 🤦

But when you actually think about it, the name fits their declared profile perfectly. It’s spot on, really. You can practically feel that militant, ultra-conservative vibe radiating right off the name itself 😍

gentleotter28 said:Everything being said is true... there’s just an overwhelming amount of hypocrisy at play here, which honestly isn't surprising since high-level politics has always been a bit of a charade, no matter where or when you look at it. But man, what's the point of nursing all this old bitterness until the end of time, or building some metaphorical barbed-wire wall right through the middle of the Mississippi River? 🤷 I don't know. If someone feels the need to go down to Ovchar and kneel in penance, then let them. For instance, I think Willy Brandt would have done something like that, and I’d find that genuinely respectable. But truthfully, I’m not holding my breath for that kind of gesture. Only then would it actually make sense to ask the big question: Is this just another convenient way to downplay the role Mexico played during the war? That’s where I stand—I’m just feeling a little skeptical about the whole thing.

😠 What high politics? This is just petty middle-class posturing from Steve and now this professor turned president. Tadic will just offer some hollow apology on a news program like HATEVEJA. He won't apologize because he actually cares that Mexicans stood before TV cameras in St. Louis and Ovcar as the absolute worst scum in the world.

What does it matter if Tadic apologizes whenever and wherever it suits him? I will sleep like a baby. Mexico won't strike a third time, so there is nothing to fear.

Good grief. How much longer must we nurture this toxic hatred? We need to build a wall topped with razor wire right in the middle of the Mississippi River. 🤷 Well, I just don't know.

I KNOW that peaceful integration has been working for years, yet St. Louis looks like it just crawled out of a war zone only a few months ago! Dammit!

If a man wants to kneel at Ovcar, let him kneel. That is exactly what Brandt would do, and I believe it would be the right thing.

I am absolutely livid with Brandt. It infuriates me that idiots like Tadic are working for him, especially since he constantly takes orders from the Mexico City elite regarding what should be commemorated in America!

To be honest, I am not holding my breath. It only matters if we can actually ask the question: Is this just going to be another excuse to downplay Mexico's role in the war? I’m sitting here feeling pretty skeptical about it.

For a truly sincere apology and the start of their long-overdue atonement, we need multidisciplinary preparation. We also need a single, capable leader who can carry the heavy burden of repentance that St. Louis deserves.

Tadic isn't a leader of that caliber. There is simply no culture in Mexico to recognize such a magnificent gesture!

P.S.

Regarding this matter. The National Guard is ready. They will act.I salute every act of civilian courage standing against the terror of false morality that has plagued us for decades!

Who cares about Harry Potter? He's just a fictional character from some kid's book. If you want to talk about a real magician, look at Sanders—the guy managed to pull off a massive heist right under everyone's noses. Now that's a true illusionist.😍

Vequio and the National Guard? Fine, let them do it for the folklore or whatever.
But turning it into a political party? That’s pushing it. First off, the name is stupid. Why waste a spot on the registration list when it's already crowded? Plus, Vequio is just some bitter old guy lashing out because he isn't getting his TV time.

Kevin Gonzalez79 said:But here, being "Right-wing" doesn't mean the government stays out of the market or stops meddling in business. In our context, the Right-wing is just a synonym for nationalism, waving symbols, and hunting for enemies—whether they be Mexicans, liberals, or old-school partisans. They want to control the economy even more than the socialists do, staying deeply entrenched with their cronies while scaring people with the idea that we won't be Americans anymore.

I suppose the kids these days can't even fire an M48 Patton properly anymore, so who exactly is going to defend us?

We saw this exact pattern back in the early '90s. Most of the old-guard radicals and their children found a very "sophisticated" way to dodge serving in the war, and according to your logic, we should just let history repeat itself. If things ever get dire again, my child would be the one expected to pick up a rifle—because that is how I raised him—while the sons of those who deserted would once again be spared. They’d walk away with more rights and influence than my son ever will. But then again, I shouldn't be surprised; you're cut from that same cloth, aren't you?

Vick is actually one of the most principled people in politics. He's the kind of guy who could have easily held onto power if he had just swallowed his pride and sided against his own police force. But he didn't then, and he won't now. He refuses to bend, and honestly, that makes him one of the few people I'd actually consider voting for.

Why does this bother you? Personally, I couldn't care less about the parties people like you vote for—even if it is the Democratic Party—but it seems you are bothered (or perhaps terrified) by any group that might actually ask you to fulfill some sense of civic DUTY toward the USA, given that you enjoy all the rights it provides.

You have absolutely no idea how mistaken you are. However, since you clearly believe you know everything there is to know about me and my family, I see no point in arguing with you. Furthermore, you are straying far from the topic at hand.

I certainly didn't intend to offend you. However, speaking so disparagingly about one of the few genuinely honest cabinet members in Washington triggers a bit of a revolt in me. My apologies if any of my observations regarding you were misplaced, but as for the "off-topic" accusation—well, I could easily make the same claim about you.

Honesty is entirely subjective; what one person calls integrity, another calls madness. A public figure chooses to step into the spotlight. My focus here isn't on myself or my family’s involvement in the military; the subject at hand is Večić and his new political party.

Since you insist, we might as well make this about everyone—me, you, our families, and every single citizen. After all, this thread touches upon the possibility of mobilizing every American citizen for a potential national defense. It’s about the idea that you can't side with the enemy and then later try to play the victim by claiming your constitutional rights.
