Nah, the actual issue is that she can't handle even the slightest bit of criticism directed at her.

That's a totally different story from what was just said about her nitpicking over something super minor. (You know, like when there wasn't any criticism involved)

Basically, this girl is already pretty much done with him.

Something just isn't clicking here, or maybe it is and it’s just plain stupid. I don't see the logic in saying she's constantly running with me or always by my side like that—it's not even like I'm choosing to have her there, it's her making the call. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I don't want her near me, but she's the one pulling all the strings and driving the whole damn thing.

Look, on the flip side, I actually sat her down and told her straight up that if she wants to go do her own thing instead of just sitting around watching me all day, I totally get it. I told her there’s zero reason for me to be tripping or getting worked up about it, so she shouldn't feel any pressure from my end either.

And when there isn't anything obvious to complain about, she'll take a harmless little joke of yours (I'm assuming she caught the sarcasm😕) and turn it into some massive drama...

Not sure if I even have any real advice for you.
A buddy of mine dated a girl just like this, and honestly, things only got worse after two years. Except she was also pathologically jealous. She absolutely drained him—and in a desperate attempt to fix things, he actually agreed to have a kid with her (I mean, hellooo?), which obviously made everything ten times worse. Now they fight constantly because she snaps at every single thing he says out of pure insecurity.

Look, I'm not stupid enough to let this get to me, my brain still works well enough for that.
In my case, she’s actually getting better, even if it's not in that specific way. Like, maybe a year or two ago, after we had a few big fights, she finally realized she was being a nightmare, admitted she'd lost herself, and promised to change. And she did change some stuff; she mostly stopped taking her daily frustrations out on me, which used to happen all the time.
What's happening now isn't constant nagging, it's more like these sudden bursts of irritation at critical moments—they don't last long, but they mess things up in the long run. It's not like I'm going to start crying over it, but it's frustrating seeing how things could be better if she wasn't acting like such a jerk for no reason, especially knowing you might not have anyone to turn to when things finally hit the fan.

I’m not the type to run when things get messy. I’ll walk away once I realize nothing is actually changing and we're just spinning our wheels—because at that point, what's even the point? But until then, I'm putting everything I've got into fixing this mess.😉

Posts are vanishing... at least, that's my experience.🤷

I’m running into the exact same issue. If anyone has a concrete fix for this—I’d really appreciate hearing it. 🤷

Maybe your girl is just totally burnt out from all the old-school teasing and playing around, so she’s just not feeling it anymore. Some women are just way too serious and don't get the joke. Our sense of humor just isn't on the same wavelength.

Look, I didn't say she isn't attracted to you, or that she doesn't love you, or that you're gross or boring, feel free to add more here. I'm saying she's just completely burnt out on the relationship. So, it’s not weird at all that she’s still buzzing around you.

That tendency to blow tiny things out of proportion? That’s probably just people messing with her (or at least that's how she takes it), but this issue is a whole different beast because what comes next is...
Everything is your fault!!!

Honestly, I have some advice, but I’m not sure if it’s actually worth it for you in the long run. Actually, depending on how you answer the question at the end, I don't even know if it's worth doing at all. 🤷

Just talk to her whenever you both have a moment. Tell her everything that's on your mind. And the rest of the time? Just be a pushover. Because every single time you give her a wrong look, she’s going to turn it into a massive drama.

Is she your first girlfriend?

That first part is spot on, but here's the real deal...
....she spends her whole life messing with everyone else, but she can't even take a joke herself when it's directed at her—well, at least not from me.

If a post isn't there, it usually means a moderator removed it—posts don't just vanish into thin air on their own, I suppose. Anyway, ladies, I took a look at your posts in this PDF, and it seems like none of yours have been deleted (yet). So, please, let's try to avoid drifting off-topic—the subject here is strictly defined by the original opening post. Also, it might be best not to reply to other users when they start posting off-topic comments. Well, that should cover everything for now; for anything else, you should probably consult the forum rules—and please, refrain from replying to this specific post. 🙂
