What can I even say... I'm stunned. That man always seemed like a rock to me—someone who could carry the weight of the world without breaking a sweat. A truly good man. May he find peace in his final rest, and may God grant him a tranquility He hasn't shown anyone else in this world.

May he rest in peace. 😢

(Though I honestly feel this should be removed from our culture)

A polished exterior and what looks like a vibrant, successful life can be quite deceptive; they don't always reflect what's actually happening beneath the surface.
The inner workings of a soul are vast and deeply mysterious.
Sadly, that was the case here too.
We've lost yet another legendary performer...
Rest in peace.

"Outward appearance"?! What, is there such a thing as an inward appearance?
And "positive dynamics"? Does that imply there’s a negative version out there somewhere? If everything is constantly moving, I guess you have to wonder where the stillness is supposed to happen.

What are you even rambling about?
This isn't really the right venue for this kind of debate.
The impression we get of someone based on their life, their career, or—in this specific case—their artistic output, rarely gives you a true look at their actual mental or physical state. It’s just not how it works.
I think I made myself perfectly clear.
Besides, if you didn't catch my drift, there isn't much point in me trying to explain it further.

Like Polimac mentioned, he could’ve been our version of Jean Gabin or maybe even Humphrey Bogart. He was definitely an interesting character.

I know what you were trying to say. You just didn't actually say it. You were so desperate to sound intellectual that you started throwing around terms you clearly don't understand—even in the post you just quoted.
Regardless, Mario Draghi was fine, and the topic regarding him was fine too. There’s really no reason to clutter the discussion with your ego.
Take care.

🙂The landscape is shifting. It always does.

It isn't widely known, but back in the day, a child was actually the one who had to pick up the late gentleman after he'd been driving while intoxicated. He essentially stopped complaining about anything from that point on because the guilt of what happened haunted him constantly. Despite that dark chapter, he truly was a wonderful man at heart.

Does anyone have any idea why the turnout was so thin at the memorial for the late Mario Draghi? It’s almost as if his colleagues didn't exactly hold him in high regard or value what he did.

Oh, I don't think that's it; most of the crowd was probably out enjoying Summer in Miami or attending some film festival in the Hamptons...

It’s honestly quite a disgrace, considering how many people actually learned their craft from that actor.

I mean, look, not everyone is going to be tied up at Sundance, or caught up in the heat of Summer in Miami, or stuck on some film set in Austin. Personally, I always thought he was a fantastic performer, truly great. But honestly? It is deeply shameful how few people showed up for the memorial. And I don't just mean the actors—I mean the entire cultural community.😢

I’m not entirely sure, but I don't really buy the idea that they stayed away because they couldn't stand him or didn't care. To me, it seems much more likely that they were just out of town, maybe heading somewhere outside of Chicago, though I get that for some people, it’s still a massive, heavy blow to process that he took his own life 🙄 😢

I'm aware, but if my math isn't totally off, I only spotted about five people in the front row. Beyond that, I didn't see any of them—not even Eric Adams, Lush, or those two actors.😢

Rest in peace. He was one of a kind—distinct, unmistakable, and truly himself.

Skipping out on a memorial when everyone knows you should be there? That’s just straight-up lowlife behavior. Absolutely pathetic. 😠
