Just finished this book, heading back to the library tomorrow... Read it just to say I did, but honestly, it’s all the same old nonsense... What a total waste of paper. Look, I’m usually all for that whole "think positive" movement, really, I am, but this? This was an absolute disaster. Maybe I’ve just read way too many of those self-help books lately and now they all just make me sick🤮

I don't want to be judgmental or anything, but when you're able to write a comment like that, I guess it just makes me realize you probably didn't even like the book in the first place.

If you don't want to judge, why are you judging? 😉

More importantly, what specifically did you find so captivating about this book that you feel compelled to defend its supposed value? It clearly didn't teach you how to think, given the way you phrased your previous sentence—no offense. It seems the book fails to teach cause and effect, which is evident from your logic. What exactly is it meant to teach?

Look, I never claimed I pulled some massive wisdom out of this book or uncovered the secrets of the universe, but regardless of what it is, it's just sad to call something total garbage or say it makes you want to gag. I wasn't trying to hurt anyone's feelings, but I guess some of those comments were probably a bit unnecessary.

Look, honestly, commenting on stuff like "it makes me sick" is unnecessary. That kind of reaction usually tells you everything you need to know about where a person is at. 😉

Why on earth would they sell the exact same product just in different packaging?😕 🤷

I guess it’s because people interpret the origin of that specific law in different ways.
Usually, they just describe certain scenarios where it applies, along with various techniques for using it. I suppose that's where the creativity really starts to run wild.

I am of the opinion that there isn't really a single "correct" way to practice; rather, certain techniques simply feel more intuitive to us than others. Ultimately, it all comes down to an individual's personal convictions and the level of devotion they bring to their faith. 🙂
