I honestly can't take any pride in anything. 🤷

Yeah, I truly believe anyone who ends up in psychotherapy is just a deeply unfortunate soul.

So what if a woman is a total machine? If she’s got it, then let him chase her.🙏

(That’s not true; you definitely have things to be proud of. You just can't seem to pick anything other than what you've used to tear down that attractive girl)

So, maybe you could explain why you even started this thread in the first place?

🙂

Look, I wasn't out there dragging her name through the mud—I'm just stating the obvious: she’s got it much better going than I do. She actually has decent looks, whereas I... well, let's just say I'm not exactly winning any beauty pageants. 🤷

And honestly, why are you even questioning why I started this thread in the first place??

Donna Wood52 said:I’m struggling to find the right headline for this, but let me try to lay it out. I know this woman—maybe she’s 28, I don't know exactly—and look, she is stunning. I don't mean just "conventionally attractive," I mean truly, head-turning gorgeous. She has the kind of curves people dream about and a face straight off a Vogue cover. But—and this is the part where the story hits a wall—that is quite literally all she has. No boyfriend, let alone a husband; no college degree... basically, she lacks everything that modern American society tells a young person they "should" have to be considered successful. Yet, everywhere she goes, men are practically tripping over themselves to get her attention. I'm not sure if you see what I'm getting at here.

I met her during a group therapy session we were attending. It was one of those settings where everyone seems to be competing over their accomplishments—this guy was bragging about his career, that woman about her kids, another person about their grad school progress—and then there was her. When it was her turn to sit, she just let her thick hair down and crossed those long, beautiful legs. That was it. 😁

So, the question is: is someone like that actually happy? On one hand, looking that good has to count for something—men certainly notice—and I wouldn't call her stupid, either. She’s actually quite serious, and whenever we had these sessions, she’d offer some genuinely insightful advice. She isn't some vapid, self-absorbed airhead, despite appearances.

What I'm curious about is whether any of you have ever encountered someone like this—someone who possesses nothing to show for themselves except an incredible physical appearance?

just read it🤣

- She can't be happy if she's attending therapy.
- How can she have "nothing to show" if she isn't even stupid? And surely people without families, kids, or degrees still have value as human beings.

The topic is: what? A smart, hot girl who makes you feel insecure?

And why start a new thread looking for a therapist if you're already in group therapy? Jerry Martinez5: You can't just type on a forum like you've had too much to drink and expect people to take you seriously.

You’re just making a fool of yourself now.

I know she isn't exactly thrilled about the idea of going to therapy—some people just aren't—but let's be real, she's got the looks, whereas I have absolutely nothing to show for it. Nobody's looking my way.😢

And where exactly am I making fun of her? We actually get along quite well, for what it's worth. 🤷
I’m just saying—she clearly wants to be more like her. I know it isn't easy for her to go to therapy, but at least she has the looks.

I know she's brilliant, and people tell me I'm smart too since I'm always buried in a book—but then again, I don't have a college degree.

If she’s got both looks and brains, she’ll play her cards right while she can—and once that looks fade, she’ll know how to pivot without needing a handout. Honestly, why wouldn't she use what she's got? People just love to complain about it—mostly because they're too insecure to handle it—claiming it's all temporary or that she won't have anything left once the clock runs out.

Since I haven’t managed to pick up a girl since yesterday, why don't you just hook me up with her number? Honestly, I don't care if I have nothing to brag about.

What makes you think you've got nothing going for you? You think you don't look good? Why? Everyone has something worth something; you just have to dig deep enough to find it. Besides, if I recall correctly, you said you're doing fine financially—that's one less thing to worry about. You even have a boyfriend; clearly, there's something about you he loves.

I never actually said she was empty-headed—all I said was that she’s attractive, and honestly, even she admitted to being smart.
And for the record, I’m not the one who went on about beauty being fleeting.

Why on earth do you think you have nothing going for you? Is it an issue of looks? Really? Every single person has inherent value—it’s just a matter of finding where that lies within oneself. And if I recall correctly—and please correct me if I'm wrong—you mentioned you're financially stable, which means fewer headaches, plus you have a boyfriend... there's clearly something about you that someone loves...

I have a boyfriend, sure, but I don't feel a thing for him. My actual obsession is doctors—they're the only ones who tell me I'm hot
and they never insult me. One of them actually told me I have beautiful, thick black hair and a great ass. 🙂

Then dump the guy and find yourself a doctor. Why stay with someone you feel nothing for? It's a dead end. Go ahead, post a photo so we can give you an honest rating!

Look, I’m just not photogenic. So what if I’m being dishonest about it? It's not a crime.

And besides—what are you actually going to do with a photo of me? Develop a sudden distaste for my existence or something? 😁
I certainly am not about to dump my personal info and a picture of my face right here in front of everyone. If you're so eager to see it, why don't you go ahead and post yours first? ☕

I’ve thought about doing it plenty of times, but not yet. When I finally post a photo, I’ll be 100% naked—just strategically covered by some props, obviously. Send me a DM! I promise I'll delete the message immediately and won't even save the file.
Photogenic? Who actually is? Heidi, Claudia...

In my view, beauty can actually be more of a curse than a blessing for people like this. Because everyone is so preoccupied with admiring them, no one ever bothers to look past the surface to see their other qualities and strengths—which, I am certain, exist.
I once knew an exceptionally beautiful woman who suffered immensely because of it. She’s in her thirties now, and she still hasn't married or even maintained a long-term relationship. At her job, she deals with constant harassment from men and deep resentment from women. All she ever wanted was to just be ordinary.

Then again, looking at it from another angle, some women know exactly how to weaponize their beauty to get what they want. But to do that, you really have to be born without a heart and possess a staggering amount of ego.

Any girl who is struggling because she's "too pretty" could easily just go for a messy hairstyle, dye her hair an ugly color, throw on some baggy jeans and an oversized shirt, and skip the makeup entirely—and I guarantee nobody would notice her beauty. (Truthfully, I've never actually seen anyone do that).
Personally, I don't quite get why someone would suffer because they happen to be attractive. Or smart. Or funny. Or charming. Or talented.
I just don't buy that kind of "suffering."

ironpuma78 said:So, didn't melpy say not that we aren't talking about some imaginary airhead here?

And what if she doesn't have a fancy degree, a husband, or a boyfriend? Does that mean she has nothing going for her besides being attractive? Since when did those become the only criteria?
Clearly, she’s got substance and heart if she actually recognizes her issues and wants to fix them—which is why she’s going to group therapy, I assume. That shows more character than most "successful" people with Ivy League degrees ever possess.

Looking at how the women on this thread are reacting, it’s pretty obvious who is actually beautiful and who is just living in the shadows, bitter and waiting for her looks to fade so she can finally feel superior. Then they'll all start showing their true colors... pathetic. 👎

Vague criteria, right?

Look, out of everything mentioned—I don't even have the good looks. No husband, no boyfriend, and definitely no college degree. But hey, I do have 26,000 posts.

The only thing I can't figure out is—is this cause or effect? Do I lack the degree, the partner, and the looks because of my 26,000 posts, or is it actually *because* of those 26,000 posts that I'm missing all that stuff? If paper beats rock and rock smashes scissors... We have a conundrum. 🤔

Maybe if you actually possessed one of those qualities, you'd understand. 😁

Serena Williams, here are a few examples from my own life—both past and present. Take this incredibly gorgeous lady I know; she’s totally guarded and shy because she’s been hit on by every creep in town since she was a kid. On the surface, she looks super confident, but—if she didn't have some emotional scars—she wouldn't. And there was even one specific time where her looks actually saved her skin.

To give an example regarding intelligence—and I say this with a bit of narcissism—look at me and my experiences on this forum. Which are... far away? Quieter? Uninteresting? Mild? I'm struggling to find the right word. Basically, if I were dim-witted like most users and moderators around here, I wouldn't be dealing with nearly as many issues, drama, or haters as I am. It would be boring, too. But I'd probably be too stupid to realize how bored I was, so I guess it wouldn't be so bad. 😁

A great ass? You've only got one, not two or more. 😬
