I’ve actually been through this a bunch of times before (mostly without even realizing it)

But lately, I’ve been working on this specific technique where I can just make my whole body go completely numb, like I can't feel a single thing
I just slowly let go, and at that exact moment when I feel myself disconnect from my brain—boom—that’s when I can totally float right out of my body

And you’re probably right about digging into the subconscious; the sensation is honestly like hitting a "master reset" button on your soul
The thing is, though, I still haven't figured out how to actually fix or rewire the stuff I find down there in the deep end.

Man, if I could just find a decent tutorial for it.

Emotions feel more vivid, and you transform into someone else entirely—someone beautiful, someone I can't even access while I'm wide awake. If I could actually carry that headspace into my daily life, I’d be overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of it within five minutes.🙂

No, no, not really, darling....😕😕😕

No—that’s distinct from matter. You're mistaken. The UI is garbage. It’s clunky, unintuitive, and frankly, an insult to anyone actually trying to use it. Fix it. No shape. Just how God originally made you—before anyone tried to give you a persona. That’s the true core of our being. Honestly, I wish you could all just plug into my consciousness when I hit that state. Then you might actually see the gold and the endless ocean of pure bliss.🙂 Forget explaining the phenomenon. When it hits, I’m a new man for three or four hours. Everything feels heightened—even resting feels different. Then the battery runs dry. I’m back to reality: the grind, college, work, dating, all of it. It’s fine when it happens, naturally; I’m a good person and I value being good. I feel decent on a material level and even spiritually, I suppose. But it doesn't come close to how it feels during those few hours.😉🙂

Matthew Castillo5 said:I honestly can't stand it when people try to reduce spiritual experiences to mere materialism.
The OP isn't talking about those random flashes you see behind your eyelids right before you drift off—which, by the way, would be hypnagogic hallucinations—but something else entirely. I guess you have to look past the purely physical stuff to actually wrap your head around it.

🙂 It’s a completely different world than the one we live in. Take this for example:
When I wake up from that half-dream state—that endless, overwhelming beauty—everything shifts for about an hour. The colors hit harder. The image is sharper. I feel more centered, more connected to everything around me and to myself. I actually enjoy walking, looking at the trees, just being present. Then, inevitably, I sink back into the routine: work, college, the gym, social life, dating, hobbies. It all fades away. Mysteriously.
I have just one question.

Why?

It exists. Look into Freud’s work on lucid dreaming, find some astral projection tutorials, or check out the Lucid Institute—they have specific exercises and everything.
What you mentioned is essentially what I'm talking about here. We just differ on the nuances—perhaps just in how it's explained.🙂

Nah—that’s separate from physical matter. I mean, you YOURSELF exist without any shape at all, just exactly how God originally designed you. It was only later that you were given a persona. That’s the true core of our being! Honestly, I wish you guys could just plug into my headspace when it happens to me—you’d see pure gold and an endless ocean of bliss.🙂 It’s this inexplicable phenomenon. When it hits, I feel totally recharged for three or four hours straight. Everything feels amazing, even when I'm just resting. But eventually, that battery runs dry and I'm back to reality—dealing with the physical stuff: finishing school, working, dating, all that. Life is still good then, because I’m naturally a positive person who loves doing good, so I find satisfaction in both the material and spiritual sides of things... but it doesn't even come close to how it feels during that peak moment.😉🙂

What you pick up subconsciously throughout the day from the heavy, physical world ends up reflecting itself in your dreams. God created matter too, unless you want to argue that they're opposing forces.
You are part of that matter, and it isn't "evil"—it's actually there to give you a chance to experience life within it.
Plus, spirit is really just matter on a much more subtle level, acting as energy.

I agree that matter isn't inherently evil... but I disagree that spirit is just another form of matter. Spirit is something else entirely—though that’s a conversation for a different subforum and a different thread altogether.
...and the idea that dreams reflect what we pick up subconsciously during the day? Agreed,
but I also maintain that whether it’s a beautiful dream or a total nightmare—non-material forces are at play. Living forces.
Matter CAN become evil if you lose touch with its other half... but spirit CANNOT become evil simply by forgetting matter, though neglecting the physical can certainly harm the body, which is an issue in itself.
Put simply, you have to balance the two. Spirit matters, but so does matter; in this system, matter is primary, while spirit is secondary—yet everything ultimately flows from the spirit.

The whole idea of "good" and "evil" is really just a human construct, born from how we perceive and select things.

And let's be real, there are spirits out there that are genuinely malicious.

It all comes back to balance. Everything needs it.

When you're awake and present... things are binary. You’re either good or bad. Productive or lazy. Thinking or idling. Brave or a coward. I find myself leaning toward the former more often these days, though occasionally the latter creeps back in. But once I close my eyes,
my psyche shifts gears entirely. It begins to function at its absolute peak, much like a rose blooming in slow motion. It feels as if some primal, divine spark is finally waking up inside me. My eyes are closed, sure, but I’m still wide awake. I can hear the TV humming in the background, I might dive into deep thought or sink into total stillness—and yet, everything becomes vivid. Colors, life, depth... it’s inexplicable and beautiful.

I suspect there may have been a slight misunderstanding between us, though I certainly don't mean to imply that you are the only one who has felt this way. 😁 I find myself reading through your posts in the competition forum, and I must say, I feel as though I understand every single word you write. 😍

Evil lives and moves. Unfortunately, that’s just how it is.😢 Add our own dark side—the ego—through which evil operates. Give in to those forces and you’ll end up as nothing more than a black hole.
The devil operates through a very specific mechanism. His legions remain invisible, yet they course through our bodies like blood through veins. There is no exception for those truly enlightened by Divine light—for them, there is no room for such evil.
It really just comes down to what you decide to prioritize.
Good and evil aren't just concepts invented by man. They’re actual, tangible realities. Not fiction. Reality.

Why?
Why don't we experience it while walking, working, reading, or just staring at the trees?

It’s probably because when you're active, your brain is way too busy processing the constant flood of sensory input from the world around you—visuals, sounds, smells, all that stuff. It’s only when you finally lie down and close your eyes that your mind actually has the breathing room to focus on what's happening on the inside.

The devil really does operate in his own unique way. He and his legions—even if we can't see them—move through our bodies just like blood flows through our veins... except for those who are truly enlightened by Divine light. There’s simply no room for the devil there.
Your spirit depends entirely on what you choose to align yourself with.
Good and evil aren't just fairy tales or concepts humans cooked up; they are absolute reality.

Matter itself is neutral. We assign it a polarity, much like everything else, because we are
creatures that actually manifest our own reality. Because of that, we sometimes commit evil acts, which are really just consequences of our ignorance and imperfection rather than some scripted villainous character.

Without the ego, there wouldn't even be a "us." So, I don't think it's about the ego itself, but rather the arrogance attached to it. You can't have good without evil, and vice versa.
True reality always comes down to the power of choice residing right inside us.

We don't create reality. We simply uncover a life path that was predetermined long ago. Free will is just a test to see who holds steady and who breaks; our "will" exists within a Higher Will, and this existence exists within a Higher Reality. When I started this thread regarding spiritual experiences, my point was that such moments are a touch from the Spirit—what believers call an encounter with Andrew or divine inspiration. Even deja vu serves destiny. Everything fits together like a puzzle. Destiny is our reality.😉

I don't believe we’re actually building our own reality from scratch. Not even close. Instead, I think we’re just uncovering a life path that was laid out for us a long, long time ago. It sounds heavy, I know! But here is how I look at free will: it isn't about changing the destination; it's about seeing who has the grit to stay the course and who folds under pressure. Our "will" exists within a much larger Will, and our little slice of existence is tucked inside an even grander Reality. When I first started this thread talking about those profound spiritual experiences—you know, those moments that stop you in your tracks—what I really meant was that it’s a touch from the Spirit. Whether you call it a divine intervention, an Angel, or just a sudden bolt of inspiration, it's all part of the same thing. Even that weird sensation of déjà vu? I see that as fate working in our favor. Everything eventually clicks together like a perfectly finished jigsaw puzzle. At the end of the day, destiny is simply the fabric of our reality.😉

I mean, think about it! Who is actually building your reality? It’s you! It's everything swirling around inside that head of yours. We're talking your personality, your psyche, those big dreams you chase, your gut feelings, and your core character. Then you add in the layers of society, your family, how you were raised, all those big ideas and visions, plus your own unique skills and talents. It’s a massive, beautiful mix! It's all coming from within.

Maybe you’re just living someone else's life. Honestly? If that's the case, do us all a favor: be a decent human being and give back what isn't yours. It's really that simple.

That’s exactly how it looks—just like you said. But there is this certain element that God left within us: will. That will exists within God's absolute. It's difficult to grasp with logic, but incredibly easy to experience with the heart.🙂

Lamborghini? Please. If you’re looking for actual performance, look elsewhere. Most of what people call "supercars" these days is just overpriced theater designed to impress neighbors who don't matter. It's all flash and very little substance. Asks:

I went through this massive stretch where I just couldn't sleep. I was basically a walking zombie.
Now that I'm actually sleeping, I occasionally have dreams about things that end up happening the next day. It makes me think my subconscious is definitely working while I'm out.
Sometimes I'll dream and just know deep down it's a dream. Honestly, I don't think I've ever even tried to fall into that super heavy, dreamless sleep. No clue why.
I'm just relieved that chronic insomnia phase is over, which is a huge win. If I could figure out how to get better quality sleep, who knows what would happen!
Maybe then I'd finally be able to weigh in on what Sophia King42 is talking about.🤷

I've experienced it. Woke up quickly afterward, though. It’s bizarrely intense—"freakin' mind-blowing."
It's beautiful. Physics doesn't apply. You're somewhere else entirely, just imagining things and they become reality. Total freedom.🙂

When you can't sleep—lie down and calm yourself completely. Wait until you can hear your heartbeat thumping in your ears.
Then, focus on something pleasant. Put in a little effort and you're set. If you were Muslim, I'd suggest a specific remedy to knock you out instantly—the devil himself can't stand the Ayatul Kursi (Q, 2:255), so he puts you to sleep just to stop you from hearing it. That verse regarding the Godly throne is too much for him.🙂But since this isn't a religious discussion: just relax and focus on something beautiful. You'll drift off eventually.🙂
