She left me for someone else. I've never loved anyone the way I loved her. It felt like we were meant to be... she was my first thought every morning and my last thought every night. She was basically my entire reason for being. 😢 Since I struggle with depression, I've lost all hope of ever being loved or living a normal life like everyone else. I have no friends left... no will to keep going.

Of course, everyone gets heartbroken after a breakup, but this keeps happening to me. I'm starting to wonder why I'm even here when I feel like a total failure. Nothing ever goes right, and everyone I care about eventually turns their back on me 😢 How do you find real love or actual friends????

Please, if anyone has any advice or just wants to comment... things are getting so dark that I've had thoughts of ending it all. I don't want to do that, though... not because of myself, but because of my parents and my family. 😢

Life is way too short to waste on anything that isn't worth it. If they’ve already turned their back on you, then they clearly aren't the one. You'll find someone who actually appreciates you—and if you don't? There's always something else to keep your mind busy. Just imagine spending your entire one material life just suffering. 🙄🙄

Let me offer you some advice based on my own experience.

I have been exactly where you are. I reached a breaking point and decided to take my own life; I even attempted it by taking a handful of pills. Had they worked, I wouldn't be here today, and I would be suffering in a fiery hell. For that reason, I am so grateful to Jesus for saving me. In that moment, I heard a voice in my mind that told me, "It is not your time yet." It was so convincing that I immediately called 911 because I felt a sudden surge of hope in my heart that I had never experienced before. After the paramedics treated me, I eventually came across the book "The power of positive thinking" by N. V. Peal. Through its pages, I realized how much I needed to invite Jesus into my heart and declare to the heavens that He is my Lord and Savior from this day forward.
I went into my room and said, "Jesus, here I am. I surrender myself to You, and I invite You into my heart. I am sorry for all the wrong things I have done in my life, and I forgive everyone who has ever hurt me."

In that moment, I felt the embrace of God's presence, and the entire weight of guilt and sorrow I had been carrying simply fell away. That sense of freedom was indescribable, and the joy was beyond words.

Today, God has brought a woman into my life whom I have married. She loves Jesus just as I do, and we share a bond rooted in His unconditional Love. I have forgotten everything that happened in the past, and I have confessed my old mistakes to those I could. People couldn't understand how I changed so drastically overnight, but I share my story whenever I get the chance, because without Him, perfect love between people simply cannot function.

Do what I did, and believe me, you will find a reason to live, no matter how dark things seem.

Best regards. 🙂

Find yourself a hobby—something that lets you completely lose yourself in the moment.
For me, hitting the gym for a heavy lifting session or heading out for a long run really does the trick. It helps me clear my head, forget about everything else, and I always walk away feeling so much better.😉

I mean, I’ve had a few girlfriends walk away from me once they realized I wasn't quite as charming or impressive in person as I seemed when they were first looking at me through rose-colored glasses. I’ve kind of gotten used to it, actually—it almost surprises me if someone doesn't leave me pretty quickly, though I usually end up getting dumped eventually once they realize I'm just sitting there surprised that they haven't left yet.

That's a great way to put it.👍

About two and a half years ago, I found myself in that same dark place with a handful of pills, though I didn't experience any sudden "voice" guiding me out. 🤷

I just laid there and whispered, "God, please, I just want this to be over." The next thing I remember through the haze was the stomach pumping, followed by a blur of the ICU and the psych ward. 🤷

Keep your head up; trust me, there are much worse things to deal with.

That is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard, and it couldn't be more true.

The real issue lies in one's relationship with Him. I already had that connection established back then, and my mother always prayed for me, so clearly, it was an act of mercy.
That doesn't make me a particularly special individual. However, look at it this way: He did not allow you to pass away; instead, He granted you a second chance. Therefore, you should cultivate a daily relationship with Jesus, because He is Love itself. When you receive that from Him, you have plenty to share with others.
People are conditioned to draw love from one another, and what happened here—which I truly cannot fathom—is a direct consequence of that imbalance. When a person places God's Love above all else, everything depends on that single source. But when a man puts the love of a woman above everything else, this is exactly the kind of chaos that ensues.

Ultimately, Love is shared and flows from only one source, which is Him. When you have that source, you draw from Him constantly, and you will never run dry. Consequently, people will naturally be drawn to you because you remain joyful and full of understanding—qualities that women deeply value and need.

When a woman perceives that she is the sole provider while you are merely the consumer, she feels depleted because she lacks her own source. The same applies in reverse: if a man provides everything while she draws solely from him, things eventually become stagnant and dull.
God is the ultimate source of inspiration and love; He provides, and we simply distribute it among ourselves.

Been there... you need to forget this girl; she isn't the only one. First, get over her, then start looking forward to meeting new people, potential partners, and friends. But nothing happens by accident; you have to be proactive.

When someone is depressed, it feels stupid hearing that there are worse things in life than a breakup and loneliness... but it’s true. It only takes getting seriously ill for a person to realize that health is the only thing that truly matters.

Start doing whatever brings you joy. Throw yourself into college or work, get out of the house... but most importantly, remember this: love is a lottery, pure and simple—a relationship can snap at any moment for any reason. Of course, you should stay positive and hopeful, but you have to keep in mind that this part of life is the least controllable aspect. The only constant in your life is yourself, so you need to protect yourself and prioritize your own well-being (especially mentally). You need to achieve peace of mind regardless of what is happening around you. The only things you truly control are yourself and your actions. Anything involving other people is incredibly unstable. That’s just how you have to accept it. People come and go. When someone leaves, simply focus on your own recovery so you can let someone new into your life. Because just as they leave, others will arrive. The quality ones—those who truly care about you—will stay for good.

I'm with you there—I've actually lived through that twice now. 😳
