I mean, seriously, have people even stopped to think about why places like Spain, England, or France (...) are so incredibly wealthy today? It's kind of hard to ignore when you look at the big picture.

History has a funny way of circling back around eventually. ☕

Africa was basically stuck in the Stone Age before colonization kicked in...

We're talking the 19th century here...
(The Portuguese were around in the 15th, sure, but most of the heavy lifting happened after 1800.)

Honestly, Africa is still living in the Stone Age today ☕

if you actually sit down and weigh all the good versus the bad that those colonizers brought to the table—in my opinion, the "bad" side wins by about 1500%.

At the end of the day, just look at where all that massive wealth and those stunning buildings in New York City, Paris, and Los Angeles actually came from... ☕ I’m telling you, screw them, they should have just moved all of Africa and India right over here. 👍

😂😂It was kind of the opposite before... everything in Africa made by human hands was built by colonizers... except for those dry stone walls they call "Great Zimbabwe"🤣🤣My great-grandfather used to build stone walls like those for miles...

France and Spain only really found their footing after letting go of their colonies... Western civilization was built on the suffering of others, not by some merchants trading their own people.☕

Look, you can believe whatever helps you sleep at night, but if we're being real, our people have mostly been out there causing trouble, acting purely out of self-interest.

Honestly, besides places like Seattle or San Francisco, the whole country basically built its wealth by stripping colonies bare, especially targeting the rural folks.

True, but they left a lot behind too... plus, decolonization hasn't exactly been a magic fix for anything.

Looking back at the most recent elections for the European Parliament, it became strikingly evident that anti-immigration parties are gaining significant ground. This shift isn't happening because of racism or anything of that nature; rather, it’s a direct response to the unsustainable pressure that massive waves of migration are placing on the entire European system.

Once people get hungry enough, they stop caring about the rules... even if Bob himself tries to step in and shut it down... 🤷
It’s just a matter of following the money and the food... because if you can't find what you need here in the US or anywhere else in the EU, you might just have to head all the way down to Argentina to get it done...

Or, you know, maybe we could try explaining to women that having a big family is actually pretty great and "in," instead of acting like some "cosmopolitan" type is going to fix everything while they live this ultra-modern lifestyle.

I think the conversation should start by telling men they need to step up and actually be decent fathers instead of just chasing temporary thrills and dodging their responsibilities.
But honestly, you can't really lecture people. Humans tend to be pretty self-centered, and for many, kids just feel like an inconvenience. It seems like the only people actually having children these days are those who aren't particularly well-educated or those who don't have easy access to modern reproductive healthcare.

That feels a bit misguided to me. If you look at the last five centuries, our race has been the primary driver behind almost every major leap forward for humanity—everything from breakthroughs in medicine and engineering to social sciences and space exploration.
Without those advancements, much of the rest of the world might still be stuck in a dark age, struggling with an average life expectancy of maybe 25 and facing constant threats from famine and the flu.

Well, they're mostly living like that even now...

Most Asian countries were basically just European colonies too, so pretty much everything they have going for them today came from us...
And Africa? Still stuck in the Stone Age if you ask me...

Europe didn't take anything from them—they just took what those guys couldn't have managed on their own...
