That logic is just plain foolish. Under this setup, someone with a steady salary $1000 would end up receiving the exact same amount, while the person who actually earns $1000 would effectively be getting $970. It makes no sense. I suppose it's perfectly logical for someone with a decent paycheck to walk into their boss's office and ask for a pay cut just so they can pocket more in benefits. And honestly, there are plenty of people like that.
I was actually looking for some clarity on this yesterday, and the only thing I could find on CNN was just a repetition of the same points I made earlier.

The guy’s gross pay is $1.25. Once you strip away the 20% for payroll taxes and social security, he's left with $1.00. Since he doesn't have any dependents to claim for tax credits, after federal income tax is taken out, his take-home pay sits at $1.00. Now, with this additional 3% hit coming, he’s looking at a final paycheck of just $989.
So, what’s the move here? Honestly, he should just go to his employer and suggest lowering his gross salary to $1.25. That way, his net pay ends up being $1000, and there isn't a dime extra being shaved off by the government. It’s a win-win for both the company and the employee. Simple enough, I guess.

Honestly, this is hands down the worst cabinet we've ever seen. It’s just a lineup of the biggest crooks and incompetent yes-men you could ask for. They’re narrow-minded, backward, and way too conservative. I honestly don't think even their own Republican Party actually likes them.
They have zero interest in cutting down all that red tape because they want the bureaucracy and corruption to keep thriving. Since they took power, they've added about 50,000 new administrative roles. That’s roughly $10 billion just flushed away on parasites. Because of them, everything is grinding to a halt and job opportunities are drying up.
Just look at this latest train wreck where Amtrak is being blamed for not upgrading
the old tracks, which are basically century-old relics dating back to the Austro-Canadian Empire. All they cared about was funneling millions into their own pockets through some offshore shell company down in The South. And the people who died?? Who’s actually going to take responsibility for that? You've got hundreds of these so-called "managers" and executives at Amtrak pulling massive salaries while doing absolutely nothing except helping out their cousins. It’s pretty creepy...
And the whole thing happens with the blessing of the administration, Smith, Machiavelli, and the rest of those scumbags who have been bleeding us dry for years.
