If anything, I'm realizing more every day that everything is so incredibly simple that even the slightest attempt to grasp that simplicity just leads to overthinking and total confusion.

Man, Michael Moore3, you are definitely not an idiot!

I had one of those moments recently where I was struck by my own sheer stupidity... perhaps I'm not dim-witted compared to the average person on the street—though that doesn't mean much to me—but in a broader sense, as a sentient being, I am just fundamentally foolish. Realizing this was both crushing and strangely liberating; I looked back at my actions and saw how they felt perfectly logical in the moment, yet were completely unjustified, driven by this urge to force a situation rather than just letting things unfold naturally. Only a fool does that... but there was a certain wisdom to be found in that realization. 🙂

And then, with that heavy realization, you’re asked a single question: Would you choose to return to an Earth like this one? You’d start over as a completely different person, free from the baggage and anxieties of your previous life, beginning from scratch with the absolute freedom to design a life exactly how you want it. The only thing that carries over is your core essence, the fundamental "you." Would you actually opt back into a material existence like ours?"

So, would you take that deal? Yes or no, and what’s the reasoning behind it? 🙂

As if anyone would even ask you.

That’s the only thing you’ll end up wondering about.
Even in this lifetime... more than a few times.

Fair question. Probably whoever you're looking for, or everyone you expect. If you aren't expecting anything, maybe a life coach.

Feel free to elaborate further. Which agency is this unexpected universal spiritual guide coming from, and where exactly does it lead? Is this guide something akin to a conscience, some other entity with human qualities, or merely a symbol pointing toward something else?

I'd go with "entity with human traits," though even that isn't quite right. We only exist with human traits while we're on Earth. Later, we become much more than that. People just don't realize it while they're stuck in the physical world.

When we die, we experience exactly what we expect. A Christian sees a classic heaven, hell, or a saint. A Muslim gets 1,000 virgins, woohoo 🙂. Someone who thinks death is the end gets nothingness. Those expecting divine will get exactly that. Either way, it's all temporary because our superconscious created it and brought it to us. Once that phase ends and we realize there's no more ego or earthly attachments, our spiritual guide comes to pick us up and take us home.
Spiritual guides are just souls at a certain stage of development who decided to help other souls through specific parts of their own growth. It's just a job, like any other. They’re more experienced than most souls on Earth, but still less experienced than those in other dimensions and worlds.
Your guide knows your core; there's nothing about you they don't know. No lectures, no negativity. They're there for one reason: to help you grow.

I'll stop there. I can go broader if needed, or tackle a different question.

The concept of the fifth dimension—the supposed destination we all head toward once we kick the bucket—is described as this timeless realm where our entire memory and consciousness are fully integrated. From what I gather, experiencing the fifth dimension would probably feel a lot like those "near-death experiences" people talk about. Your whole life flashes before your eyes in a single heartbeat because time doesn't really exist there; everything happens in one singular, frozen moment. You see every single milestone of your existence happening all at once, and you finally, truly grasp the meaning behind it all. It’s basically a total audit of your earthly life.

In a way, that dimension feels most similar to the old vision of Purgatory. Reliving your entire life with full, unfiltered awareness can only really mean one thing: purification. Once you've been scrubbed clean, then comes Paradise. As for Hell, I’m not so sure, but the idea of an eternal hellfire just doesn't sit right with me. There might be a chance that a soul that has become too deeply entrenched in its own darkness reaches a dead end, but I’d like to think we’re all headed for a little cleansing before we continue our soul's journey.

But now... would I actually want to come back? Why not? Is there really anything else to do out there? If there is, I suppose we'll find our way to it eventually. 🙂 Like Walsh so perfectly put it: this is the only game in town... life.

The only thing that actually scares me about going back
is this
having to spend another nine months inside a womb
it feels incredibly claustrophobic to me
and honestly, the whole process of being born seems intense: painful, tight, way too narrow, followed by blinding light, and then the sudden chill of a hospital room...
and oh boy

Are you asking me to take your word for it? While alive, one cannot truly know what it is like to cease being. You should perhaps remember that you are operating from an assumption that lacks any foundation; the mere poetic beauty of a concept does not make it true.

So, if I’m remembering you correctly—and I usually am, though my brain does tend to wander—you mentioned something about returning to our core essence... you know, that fundamental thing that makes us who we are, but with this totally clean slate? I guess what I'm wondering is, do you mean a total wipeout where all those old memories from a previous life just vanish into thin air? Or are we talking about coming back with all that baggage and knowledge intact—knowing exactly where we've been and what we've done? Or is it more like... just a cosmic rerun of everything that already happened? Please, help me wrap my head around this one.

YES—actually, I had to go back and re-read that more carefully. My bad. But honestly, the thing that keeps tripping me up about this whole concept is... isn't the very thing that makes us *us* actually tied to the path we've walked? Isn't our lived experience a fundamental part of our soul's essence? If we believe that karma is the direct result of our actions, then surely the journey itself—every high and low—is what shapes who we are meant to be.

I’m not asking for anything. Believing in it is your call—your truth, your choice. And if you're worried about foundations, maybe question what you actually consider logical. You could try astral projection or out-of-body experiences. Personally, I'd suggest regression, specifically theta regression. It shows you everything you're looking for, not just past lives, but the gaps in between them too. Past lives don't just vanish; they get blocked during this life, and regression is how you unblock them.
You could meditate or whatever else, and there are plenty of ways to experience something beyond the physical. But there's no point in trying to prove it to me. You'll just believe what you want anyway. It's really about deciding to improve yourself on your own terms.

Memories get blocked off for a reason, though regression can pull them back up. Whether this life is a repeat or something entirely different depends on the choice you made long ago. You're here to fix something. Maybe you've been trying to do that for several lifetimes now. You could build the same old patterns or create something new. You're the lead actor in this play; how you perform the script is entirely up to you. In the end, you're the only one judging your work. Why would you do otherwise? It's just the soul's drive to grow and learn.

Forget about past life regression. To me, it is nothing more than charlatanism designed to exploit people facing genuine struggles. We could instead discuss the ethics of lying to someone for their supposed benefit and charging them for it.

I have sufficient experience with non-standard states of consciousness and various methods of inducing them. Belief is not a prerequisite.
