That’s true, though people still ask me if my dad is happy with his girlfriend. He isn't. As soon as he heard she had moved away, he just handed over the divorce papers.🤣

😁 😁 Oh, totally, mine too... and they've got two little ones on top of it all!! That’s just a recipe for disaster. 😁

Watching how much he adores our daughter—how they click and how she’s already his little princess (even though she isn't even two yet)—is actually pretty sweet. He's clearly counting down the days until our son arrives, too. He’s constantly checking in on me, asking if I need anything, giving me massages. I'm only ten days out from delivery.

What really gets under my skin, though, is the constant poking and people asking if I'm "still in one piece." People just don't get how incredibly irritating that is. They're also being dense; they don't realize that if things actually start moving, my family is going to be the ones handling the logistics for everyone else. :P

I’m honestly worried about that too, though I’m banking on the fact that since most people will be away on summer vacation in August, they might actually forget to ask for a few days.☕

Ugh, tell me about it! I can't even go anywhere without at least five random people—people I barely even know besides a quick nod in passing—asking me, "So, how much longer?" or "Wow, you're still looking great, when is the big day???"
Like, who gives a shit? Seriously. 😠
Do they have any sense of boundaries at all?! 🤷

It seems I haven't exactly encountered those kinds of comments myself... where on earth do you all find people like that?😂

It drives me absolutely insane when people I barely even know—like, we’ve passed each other in the hallway maybe five times in our entire lives and I don't even know their names—think they can just shamelessly "pet" my stomach.
Like, heck no, thanks, especially if you didn't even bother asking first.
P.S. Sorry for the rant, but I literally just walked out of Target and these kinds of situations just sent my blood pressure straight to the moon!!!!!

I don't run into them. They run into me. 😢

So I was at the OBGYN today, and of course, the husbands are just lounging around with their wives while a crowd of pregnant women is left standing there... completely ignored.
After finishing my fetal monitoring and exam—which left me feeling absolutely wiped out—I headed over to Walmart, only to find myself in a literal race against a group of seniors to see who could reach the checkout first. 🙂
It’s been one of those days where everything is grating on my nerves; I'm feeling pretty frustrated and physically miserable, so please bear with me.

Ugh, don't even get me started on the checkout lines. The lack of basic manners is just unreal. 🙄

They basically just stare at their own stomachs and then fixate on the ceiling. They just totally ignore you. Fine, you saved yourself maybe seventeen seconds of life by not letting me through, so make sure you spend those precious seconds wisely! ☕
I had a moment today where a young (and quite handsome 😁) guy stood up for me on the bus. He offered his seat, and I was genuinely thankful. But honestly, that feels like the absolute peak of civility—someone standing up on a bus. When it comes to doctors' offices, grocery stores, or any other everyday situation, people seem to have zero manners left.

Sam Baker6 usually only hears that kind of stuff from women who are well over a hundred years old, clinging to those old-fashioned, traditionalist views. (It reminds me of that one comment an uncle made to a little girl—just completely inappropriate. 😂)
Personally, I find the whole thing pretty hilarious; I don't let it get under my skin.

I can't even say this irritates me anymore.
It’s basically become a personal trauma at this point.🙂

It isn't that I'm invisible—I'm certainly wider than I am tall, and my stomach looks like I might be due any minute—but still!
THEY just don't see me: at the restroom, on the bus, on the subway, or even at the CIA.

Nobody notices when I'm (barely) standing there just waiting my turn.😢

Honestly, I wouldn’t even care if they told me "no," but I just wish they'd have the decency to actually ask—you know, show just a tiny shred of basic human empathy and common sense. But nope. Not happening. This has already gone down twice during my pregnancies, once with my last one and now again with this one.

That’s really the crux of it, isn't it?
If only someone would actually acknowledge you for a second!
But instead, I’m just standing there at the Walmart Cashier with maybe two items in my hand—because, honestly, I can barely carry anything else right now—and everyone is just acting like I'm invisible.
I can't help but wonder if people have become so wrapped up in their own little worlds that they genuinely don't notice anyone else, or if they're just incredibly rude and don't care about that whole "priority for pregnant women with small kids" thing at all.🤮

They just don't care. I feel you—I'm currently heavily pregnant with a four-year-old who definitely doesn't have the patience to stand still in line, all while trying to manage a huge grocery haul. And yet, not a single soul pays attention. 🙂

I'm right there with you! 🙂

I feel like I've been venting on this thread for months now, almost hoping that maybe, just maybe, I'll eventually see a day where someone actually stands up for me on a bus or lets me skip ahead in line. 😢

So far, during my first pregnancy: absolutely nothing. Not once, not anywhere. 😲

But then, during this one—just this one single time—some middle-aged woman on a bus near the river looked at me while I was with my little one and said she knew exactly how it felt because she had four kids of her own. 🙂

It's kind of sad, really.

Well, the one time I actually got a break during this pregnancy, it was a Cashier at Walmart. 🙂 There were still 5 or 6 people ahead of me, but as soon as she spotted me, she practically jumped up from her station and yelled, "Move it, everyone move! Let this lady go first—can't you see she's pregnant and has a kid with her? Have some decency!" 🙂
