It’s actually driving me a little crazy... I haven't been able to deal with my own pedicure or even get my toenails sorted for over a month now. I wear a size 5, so nothing is huge, and my stomach is pretty flat too... but for some reason, I just don't feel comfortable bending over that far. It’s this weird, nagging sensation, almost like a gut feeling that I shouldn't be pushing it, and honestly, it's starting to get under my skin 🤷 because it’s so frustrating. My feet are tiny anyway, and my toes have those odd little nails that look even weirder when I let them go for too long... 😢 Thank God my partner doesn't even notice these things 😬

Please, someone tell Kokoša to pipe down. I just barely managed to get my own stuff sorted out, and honestly, my back is killing me and I am completely wiped... it really isn't easy.
It’s easy for you to sit there and come up with all these little tactics when you’re probably the only pregnant woman I’ve ever seen who actually still has a waistline 😁 and naturally, your bump doesn't look anything like mine...
if it did, you’d see exactly what the struggle is. 😍

I am currently in a complete state of burnout.

I spent the whole day trekking all over town trying to track down some paperwork my mom needed for my brother, and then I came home, cleaned up, and even helped my partner move some small stuff around his workshop. Honestly, the only way my back doesn't ache is if I’m sitting perfectly still or lying down. Now, my "darling" is sulking because I had the nerve to tell him I was far too exhausted and physically drained for sex. He actually called me a cow. So, I just sat down at my computer and started crying (he stepped out for a cigarette)!

I could honestly 🙂 just kill him. What an insensitive jerk.

Michael Barrett11 🙂 Look, I’m not trying to lecture you because you clearly have a clue what’s going on, but calling me a "cow"??? 😲
If you had said that to me during one of our harmless little jokes, you might have caught a punch to the face, but now that I’m pregnant? Forget about it.
And honestly, what kind of logic is "being moody" just because he won't sleep with you? 🙄 Tell him to just take matters into his own hands if that's all he cares about in life.
What should my man say then—that conception is a matter of luck? Because at the end of the day, that’s how it works, so stop complaining (not that I'm saying he should be thrilled about it), since we both know this isn't some miracle surgery performed by my doctor.
It seems to me you really need to sit him down and make it crystal clear that you're already carrying one baby and definitely don't need a second one on the side, because acting like this is nothing more than the behavior of a spoiled brat. 😠

He actually had the nerve to call me frigid just because I said no.....😂
He was never satisfied either, because apparently, we’re supposed to be performing Olympic gymnastics on his junk instead of just being human.
That was during my first pregnancy.....now he knows better than to push it.

Long story short, he hasn't seen any action in a long time after that.

Men are basically single-celled organisms driven entirely by testosterone and their own libido. They're slaves to it. Just punish him. Ignore him in every sense—words, attention, sex. You already know the drill; there's no point in explaining that you can't reason with someone like that.
And don't back down.

I figured I’d face some judgment or unsolicited life lessons once I posted this on the forum, so I’m not really going to hold anyone's comments against them. I made the choice to share this publicly myself.

I don't see much point in making excuses for either of us. I suppose we’re both at fault in our own ways regarding why things aren't working out between us, but it isn't true that I'm encouraging his behavior. We didn't talk much yesterday; I mostly just gave him one-word answers—"yes," "no," "I don't know." I think that was enough of a signal for him to realize he messed up, especially after I went to bed.
Just so we're clear, I didn't let him off the hook when he apologized later. He needs to understand how heavy his words actually land, even if he didn't strictly mean them—even if he only said them because he wasn't getting any sex.

He's essentially a child when it comes to our relationship. While he’s certainly grown up when it comes to managing his business and his finances, that one specific area of his maturity is... well, it's non-existent.

Anyway, thanks for the input. I appreciate the feedback, no matter how blunt it might be, but I just needed a place to vent and get this off my chest. 🙂for all of you

Hey there, I am honestly just so sorry you aren't getting the attention you deserve right now—especially during this beautiful season of life when you're expecting. I won't try to play therapist or tell you how to run your life since you know your partner better than anyone else ever could. He might have a million other great qualities, sure, but if he’s being this dismissive and failing to respect you while you're preparing to be a mom, it really undermines everything else. At the end of the day, you're the one who knows if this is something you can live with or if it's a dealbreaker.
Anyway, don't let it get to you too much—your little one needs you feeling positive and bright.
Wishing you all the best!
🙂

So, yesterday was actually International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. ☕

Man, it’s such a bummer, I can't seem to find that one specific ad online—you know the one, where it says 'I only remember the happy days.' It would have been absolutely perfect for this.

Why the hell are you all acting like victims—as if none of you have ever said a single nasty thing during an argument?
It’s not like he called her a cow because he lacks love or respect—it was actually because
he’s completely repressed and doesn't know how to handle his pathetic, adolescent frustrations regarding
his lack of sexual success, so he resorts to insults. What a massive tragedy.
Some people are just more high-strung—they argue loudly and crudely, while others play the quiet, underhanded game.

Personally, I’d much rather be told to go to hell a hundred times over than deal with someone behaving like a total slut
just to "get even" out of spite.

When someone gets under my skin—take my partner, for instance—I react the exact same way.
And that has absolutely nothing to do with whether I love them or respect them.
If they start annoying me with some mindless nonsense, I might lose my mind and say things that would make a sailor blush,
even though I’d die for them and respect them immensely. I’m not saying it’s "good" behavior, but
you lot are all jumping to her defense as if he swung an axe at her. I even get angry at myself when I react
that explosively—because it’s childish and ugly. But in the moment, I don't care; I feel like the harsher the word,
the clearer it makes him understand how much he's messed up or how much he hurt me... it's idiotic. But sometimes, that's just how it goes.

She imagines a dresser, and he builds it with his own two hands. Is that not proof of love? It is!
And not just once, either.

So she called him a cow... sure, it's ugly, but whatever. C'est la vie.
But I’m sure you all live in some perfect utopia where the birds chirp day and night
surrounded by nothing but pure love and bliss.

Honestly, it’s infuriating—I’m already dealing with high blood pressure six full days before my appointment.
At 11:00 AM, I hit 155/90. Just wonderful.

Hey babe!
I’m typing this from someone else's computer because my internet at home just cut out on me (no clue why... maybe I forgot to pay the bill, but honestly, that’s such a lame excuse...) 😬

And there's zero news to report...
I actually got into it with my man again yesterday too. He pushed my buttons all the way to the moon, but whatever, let it slide...
I miss him like crazy, though, because he's working from sunrise to sunset, then he gets home and starts picking up extra side gigs, so he doesn't even walk through the door until like 9 PM... meanwhile, he's out the door by 6 AM. So I'm sitting here moping while he's just totally blowing me off with his nonsense. Ugh.
And after everything I do, being such a sweet wife... cooking for him, keeping the place spotless... YEAH, NOPE. I am officially DONE. 😁

Give me a break.
And look... it’s not just about being called a "deadbeat"... it’s about the actual reason he used that word toward you—calling you a "deadbeat" because you were an exhausted pregnant woman who’d been working hard all day and just didn't have the energy for sex. I totally get that people have tempers and say things they don't mean when they're heated (for what it's worth, I'm 21 😬), but the point is he did something that deeply hurt you in a moment of anger, and honestly, he didn't even have a right to be mad in the first place.

I’ve unfortunately been through that same cycle myself—that total breakdown in communication and everything that follows... and those consequences? That's the part that really stings. But we never would have reached that breaking point if we had just dealt with the root cause: the lack of talking things out. Without real, honest communication, the issues just keep piling up until the relationship simply can't function anymore... and realizing that hurts probably even more than when the love fades. It feels like it's almost easier to accept that someone doesn't love you, or that you don't love them, rather than facing the reality where you both love each other but just can't find a way to be happy together. 👎

Allow me to offer my own little observation regarding this whole business of insults and verbal sparring... I certainly don't enjoy the kind of idyllic marriage Cruz and Eden have over in Santa Barbara 🤣, though one might wish for it; instead, my husband and I tend to engage in rather heated exchanges where we say things we probably shouldn't, often letting our tongues run wild in the heat of the moment. We don't truly mean the venomous things we spit when the blood is boiling—it’s more of a verbal storm than anything else—but the crux of the matter is what happens once the passion subsides and the temper cools (though, if I’m being honest, it takes me considerably longer to find my center than it does him 😁). At that point, one must possess the basic human decency to step up, admit they were wrong, attempt to mend the rift, and actually learn from the chaos so it doesn't repeat itself... after all, let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
I must confess, ever since I became pregnant, I haven't exactly been the paragon of fairness or saintly behavior toward my better half, which leads me to believe he might be quite hesitant about us having a second child 🤣🤣
. So, there I have it—a rather cluttered little essay on my part, but I suppose I've made my point clearly enough..😉

Please, don't let this weigh on you quite so heavily; I truly believe you are standing on the precipice of some of the most exquisite moments your life will ever offer. I realize how terribly easy it is for the rest of us to sit back and offer unsolicited wisdom or patronizing advice when things look bleak, but I have lived long enough to know that even the most relentless storms eventually break, allowing the sun to emerge and restore everything to its rightful order...😉

tina_m said:I am quite pleased to be here. I look forward to our discussions. You hit the nail on the head. He’s incredibly green and talks way too fast—he just blurts out the first thing that pops into his mind without even thinking twice. Thanks for your perspective, though; you really helped put things into context for me. I needed that.

I am not necessarily looking for an excuse for him. Perhaps I am simply to blame for staying by his side, knowing exactly who he is.
Jamie Wilson76 There is certainly a breakdown in our communication, but I am hopeful we can resolve this soon. He is only 23; try to remember what things were like for you at that age. I am not attempting to defend him—what he said was wrong and he knows it. He realized his mistake almost immediately after hitting that like button.
It is true that I am more mature than he is, even if I am actually a year younger.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I really don't want this to turn into a massive argument, especially since one person took my previous post a bit too personally. That wasn't my intention at all. I just needed to vent and have a little moment of self-pity—that's exactly why this thread exists.

Don't worry, there won't be any bickering. Everyone has shared their thoughts and explained their reasoning, so we are all on the same page. 👍
Hang in there. He'll mature in due time.
It will arrive by age 23. 🙂
Just take it slow and stay patient. 😘

It wasn't okay, but still... I mean, I waited nine years for my kid to actually grow up, and I can tell you from his 30th birthday that he finally turned into a real man! I guess I taught him right. You just have to set some boundaries early on; don't let them get away with everything, or it becomes a habit. Eventually, especially once they become parents themselves, things tend to click and they mature.

While I've got the keyboard out, is it normal for milk (or whatever) to leak this early??? (I mean, what *isn't* normal at this stage!) Just wondering if this happens often. I need to know how much sleepwear to prep, because I am definitely not washing a new pair of pajamas every single day! I'm currently 14 weeks and 5 days along.

He knows perfectly well that I can't stand that kind of behavior from him, but I’m hoping that once the baby arrives, he’ll clean himself up a little. It’s a massive responsibility, after all.

I’m 20 weeks along, so I haven't had any leaking issues yet, so 🤷

It’s driving me nuts that I haven't gone into labor yet. I’m at 40 weeks and 5 days. Everything just gets under my skin. I’m constantly on edge, eating like a maniac just because I’m bored, and I have this sudden urge to bake Christmas cookies even though it's way too early. Once the baby actually arrives, there won't be any time for that—unless I start looking like an elephant, which, let’s face it, is already the case. Just a million little things getting on my nerves right now.🙂🙂

It drives me absolutely insane when people don't even bother to shake off their shoes when it's raining outside!!
I swear, I spend every single morning scrubbing the entire apartment, and then by nightfall, I’m right back where I started!!!
At least when it’s pouring rain

Honestly, I’m just shocked I actually made it to my appointment today 😍, especially since I'm carrying quite low. My doctor told me if I could just reach week 35, it would be a total win.

I’ve been living in constant fear of preterm labor since week 19. First, I was praying to hit 20, then 22 (a small relief), then 27 (huge relief), then 30 (we celebrated!), then 35 (national holiday!), and finally 38—which felt like Independence Day because I could finally get out of bed 😍.

What’s really getting to me right now is the discomfort. Between the belly weight and the struggle to breathe at night, I'm exhausted. No contractions, fully dilated, terrible heartburn, digestive issues, dizziness, and general weakness... and yet, I'm not in the delivery room yet, still waiting to meet my little chunky girl. 😢
