Bryan Palmer3, we all love you here on the forum. 😍

Just don't come crashing into our DMs out of nowhere, what's gotten into you?

You're sharp and you've got a good head on your shoulders, so don't let anything get under your skin!👍

wearydriver22 said:Honestly, if you're looking to make some new friends, the internet is probably your best bet. There are thousands of different sites out there—some dedicated to dating, others just for hanging out—and I know, I know, you’ve probably read all those cynical articles claiming online socializing is "fake" or somehow pathetic. But, in my experience, that’s mostly just noise. It’s actually one of the easiest ways to find people who genuinely get you. You can filter for specific interests or shared viewpoints, which saves so much time. It’s pretty simple: you find someone with the same hobbies, grab a coffee together, and see where things go from there. It really is that straightforward.

Just get moving—give it your best shot and try to track them down. 😉

I'll give it a shot, thanks😍!

If things are feeling truly heavy right now, just know that all this struggle is worth it once you reach that point where the tears finally stop, so just make a promise to yourself that you won't let it get this bad ever again... that you'll really try to turn a new leaf and find some happiness and peace, because God gave you one more morning, and then another one, and another, and another.🙂
Maybe you're an animal person? If you can swing it, getting a dog might be cool since walking them is a great way to run into some nice people and actually make some friends.🙂
You can also find people on different websites or forums, but definitely watch your back because there are all sorts of weirdos out there.😉
Or if you have a bike, maybe try to carve out some time to hit a specific route whenever you feel like it, just to get out into nature—trust me, it really helps... whenever I'm feeling down, riding my bike is basically my light at the end of the tunnel.😁

So, what exactly are you expecting from friends anyway?? 🤷 They're basically just there to grab a coffee with, maybe share a little chocolate,
stroll through town—to put it bluntly—they exist to kill time and make sure we don't sink into total isolation. But that's about it.

True altruistic friendship doesn't really exist anymore, especially among the younger crowd.

Honestly, you can only rely on yourself... and if you can't manage that? Well, just head out to a shop, buy something you actually like, and walk around downtown so people notice you 😉 (that’s a decent confidence booster), pick up an interesting magazine, or hit up a video store and find a gripping movie to take home..

I don't know if I'm just rambling nonsense here, but this approach has actually helped me quite a bit during some pretty rough patches.

Bryan Palmer3 said:I'm 26, I can hold a conversation just fine, but honestly, finding genuine, sincere friends these days feels almost impossible...
I even stepped out just now to grab some cigarettes—and I haven't touched a pack in ages—and even then, it's still a struggle to connect with anyone...🙂

Stop playing the victim. No one is going to swoop in and save you, and nobody’s going to hand you a roadmap for your life on a silver platter. Most people aren't going to be there when things actually get heavy—that's just how it works. Accept that reality and learn how to stand on your own two feet. Grab a bike, go for a ride, head to the library, or just find a movie to lose yourself in. Just deal with it.

So, let me ask you something: when was the last time you actually picked up the phone and reached out to someone to grab a coffee? Or are you just sitting there waiting for everyone else to do the heavy lifting and call you first?

Here we go, another loser... Have you considered that maybe you’re just the problem? Maybe it's just a little chemical imbalance in your brain and you're turning your life into a soap opera. How many more years are you planning on being this dramatic? Eat some more greens and get over yourself.😁

God, just thinking about how many times I've felt that way. Honestly, there were more times when I felt fine than when I didn't...

It feels like the whole world is crashing down on you and nobody gives a damn what happens to you under the rubble...

That's just life and growing up. Especially if you're a sensitive soul—you absorb everything around you deeper than most people. In those moments, it sucks. You wish you could just be some detached kid who doesn't care about anything. But later, once you mature, that depth becomes a beautiful thing... feeling the world that deeply... 😉

As for friends... well, if they're real, you won't stay fighting for long. If they aren't, then there's nothing to mourn. Sometimes you have to cut people out for your own sake...

Things will get better. 100%. This sad phase will pass and you'll be smiling again, then eventually a bad phase hits, then smiles again... it goes on forever. It’s just about learning how to handle it... 🤷

I honestly don't even know where to start with this one, but here we go. I’ve been sitting here staring at my screen, just trying to wrap my head around the sheer stupidity of some of the takes I'm seeing lately. It feels like every time I log on, there's someone peddling some half-baked, nonsensical idea that makes me want to put my head through a wall. It’s exhausting, really. You try to have a coherent discussion, and suddenly it's just a free-for-all of nonsense. Honestly, if people would just take a second to think before they hit "post," maybe we wouldn't be in this mess. kaže:
She really needs to find herself a partner... it’s high time she settles down, because the years are absolutely flying by. 😁

Are you seriously asking me to marry you right now? Give me a break.🙂?

Chiquitita, tell me what's wrong
You're trapped in your own sadness
Looking at you, there’s just no hope left for tomorrow
It kills me to see you this way
There’s absolutely no denying it
I can tell you're so heartbroken, so silent

Chiquitita, just give it to me straight
I’m here whenever you need to lean on someone
As your best friend, I'm the one you can count on
You used to be so confident
But now, it looks like you've lost your spark
I really hope we can fix this together

Chiquitita, you and I know
i know How The heartaches Come and They go and The scars they're leaving You'll be dancing once again and The pain will end you will have no time for grieving Chiquitita , you and i cry but The Sun is still in The sky and shining above you let me hear you Sing once more like you did before Sing

Chiquitita, you and I cry
But the sun is still in the sky and shining above you
Let me hear you sing once more like you did before
Sing a new song, Chiquitita
Chiquitita Try once more like you did before Sing
Sing a new song, Chiquitita

Sorry, I'm not trying to get all preachy or dwell on everyone else's opinions here, but I’m honestly just feeling so incredibly frustrated... it’s just life, isn't it? It feels so unfair sometimes. It seems like some people are just handed everything—they get loved, they actually know what that feels like—while others are just left there, crying through the heartache 😢
