How is this even happening?! You've got a guy facing corruption and fraud charges, someone accused of rape, and a guy who actually thinks showering after sex is the best way to prevent AIDS, and he’s likely going to be the next President of South Africa. I just don't get it.
Jacob Zuma
Has there ever been a case where a criminal was even nominated for president? Or a criminal stayed in office after their crimes were proven (everyone knows he did it, whether they actually convict him is another story)?

Just your typical African leader. Why is everyone acting so shocked? 🤷

Every single president we've had in the US so far was actually an ex-con. 😁

I just don't get how people can be such sheep... 🤷
Guess I'll never wrap my head around it. Dammit.

J. Javits is Zula, and those folks have always had a bit of a wild streak—it’s just part of that intense heritage they carry.
Nah, he's a straight-up embarrassment for any president. No question about it.

Look, this is just a sign that the remaining white folks are gonna grab their cash, head over to Europe, and dump it all there...

There's honestly no saving Africa anyway...

I’m increasingly convinced that after the end of apartheid, there should have been some sort of extended transitional period—something more structured. You could have focused on securing civil rights and providing high-quality education for Black citizens, but perhaps withheld the right to form political parties for a while, allowing them to earn their way into governance over time. Instead, look at what happened. Because of those reciprocity laws, most of the top-tier talent from the police and military left to work for private security firms or as mercenaries. They were replaced by people practically pulled off the street—and in the military wing of the Democratic Party, you almost had non-commissioned guerrillas occupying officer positions. When you see soldiers in 2010 trying to storm Parliament in South Africa just because they want higher pay, and the police respond with rubber bullets, only for the soldiers to retreat while threatening to come back with actual weapons next time... well, it starts looking less like a once-ordered nation and more like Guinea.

Look, if you try to hand over control to the same group of people who aren't actually ready for the responsibility, you’re going to end up with exactly what we're seeing now. It's basically an old rule of thumb in American politics that goes all the way back to the fallout of the British Monarchy

Blessed Africa. So that's how it ends when Black people run the show.👍I'm calling it now: South Africa is going downhill fast, probably gone in 30 years.

Neither the United Kingdom nor the USA wants to take them in. Just imagine that. They can't even get citizenship even though their ancestors were right there. But then again, Vanguard and the USA have no problem taking in millions upon millions of total losers from all over the world.

Look, there's a massive difference between being in prison because of political ideals or being "unsuitable," versus being locked up for something monstrous like rape.

I honestly don't think their roots are firmly planted in the US, and for most of them, they aren't even from the United Kingdom either.
Actually, I’m not even sure if Europe will take them in, considering nearly a quarter of the population has already migrated toward Europe, the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
In my view, the big mistake was not choosing the option that was right there on the table—relocating to the Western Cape to establish a white-majority state.

p.s. Countries like Armenia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Norway, Spain, and Sweden all have repatriation laws in place. The United Kingdom doesn't have anything like that.
The US and Bulgaria actually offer even more than that.
So, anyone coming from those specific nations should be able to move there without running into any major hurdles.

Whose ancestors are we even talking about?
Look, there are 3.5 million Boers with nowhere else to go... this is their land. They cut ties with their motherland 350 years ago. They have just as much right to South Africa as anyone else. The world is finally seeing exactly what the Afrikaners warned about back since the end of the Spanish-American War.
Ever since apartheid was scrapped, the quality of the healthcare system, the bureaucracy, and basic infrastructure has tanked by over 70%.
Black citizens were promised free education—kind of like how veterans' kids get perks in the States—regardless of whether they actually have any foundational knowledge. And when white students pushed back, black mobs tore up the 200-year-old parks and groves surrounding the university in Stellenbosch.
I don't want to start listing examples; there are plenty. But the native white population isn't going anywhere, at least the majority of them. A Bible and a shotgun will be requirements for survival.
The fault of the apartheid regime lies in failing to foster a black middle class that could have smoothed over those fractured relations, specifically between the Boers and the Bantu tribes. The advantage black people hold, which they exploit heavily, is an absolutely massive birth rate. Black kids are everywhere. Add to that the fact they were treated like dogs in Soweto, and I don't need to explain how they feel toward the whites who had everything. It’s a blessed life, provided you aren't worried about your safety.

I was reading on an American forum recently that all their aircraft—those Swedish Gripens they just spent a fortune on—are grounded; even the naval vessels aren't leaving port. It isn't just a lack of funds, either—it's the total inability to maintain the equipment. Everyone who actually knew what they were doing in the military has left. White recruits aren't even signing up for military academies anymore because there's no path for advancement—most of the generals and officers are former Democratic Party guerrillas. I’d bet anything that we'll see military coups within the next decade, maybe sooner... and that is how you create those typical African nations.

You can see the fallout from apartheid everywhere. Take Johannesburg—it's a massive metropolis with zero organized public transit; it never even existed. You basically have to stick to your neighborhood from dawn until dusk.

Service quality in both healthcare and government agencies has tanked by about 80%.
Incompetence, sheer ignorance, and corruption within political circles are basically gutting the good ideas established back in 1994 with Mr. Mandel.
For a few years now, the far-right among the Afrikaners has been running diversions, while the Democratic Party's administration is actually trying to pull the country out of this mess by making resources available to everyone—except the white population..
It isn’t fair, sure, but then again, it wasn't fair during those 350 years before that either. The Afrikaners planted bad seeds with the local Black population, treating them like dogs kept in some dry reservation. Today, the dog knows exactly what kind of master it had.
All this panic over white emigration is baseless. Up until 1994, you had roughly 50,000 white people moving into South Africa every year, mostly coming from Europe. They were part of the economic migration wave, too, but the local white population there actually has roots.
There’s no doubt that armed white reserves still exist, ready to react to any potential Black attacks in a very short timeframe. And let’s not forget, there isn’t one unified Bantu tribe; they’re often bigger enemies to each other than the Afrikaners ever were in history.
The only truly catastrophic fact is the record-breaking Black birth rate that’s been climbing steadily since the mid-1930s. The Afrikaners weren't exactly losing sleep over it back then, and their old saying "swart gevaar" serves as proof enough.

I mean, what's the point of those birth rates if 30% of the population is living with HIV/AIDS?

It doesn't really do them any favors, honestly; the birth rate has dipped well below the replacement level.
