We’re just pointing out the reality here—the trial happened in a city where the local government is run by the "leftists" you're so fiercely defending, and because of that, one specific pedophile got a sentence that was way too light.
It's pretty much common knowledge that your leftist buddies aren't just here in America, but all over Europe, they're known for being advocates for all sorts of risky groups... you know, gays, lesbians, addicts, pedophiles, and so on. So, naturally, the sentence handed down in a city ruled by your friends had to be low enough so they wouldn't upset their own voter base.
