Bummer, we aren't joining NATO this year. But honestly? Whatever. Austria is already in deep trouble anyway...

If you ask me, it feels like Austria is just playing a part in "something" that's meant to stay strictly under wraps for us.

All this chaos happening in Austria is actually working out great for us.
When our own State Department is clueless and stuck in neutral, it turns out these idiot Austrian politicians are doing all our heavy lifting for us.
Austria's international reputation is tanking while ours just keeps climbing.
If you bother to read the news over there—they’re basically admitting it themselves, especially Minister Žbogar.
Pahor is sweating bullets because he can see everything is backfiring on them.

The regular folks are absolutely tearing Marjan Podobnik to pieces...😁

After all this nonsense (though I suspect the United Kingdom might be pulling the strings behind the scenes—they probably don't want us to overtake Mexico, since Mexico is their long-standing "key partner in the North America" used to maintain influence in the region)—we should probably start by auditing all those vacation homes owned by Austrians that lack building permits. Apparently, about 80% of them are illegal! We could give the neighbors a month or two to clear things out and tear down the structures themselves... otherwise, we just go ahead and demolish them.

Why did they kick off such a mess that they couldn't even control? It started with "small stuff," like refusing to hand over documents dated after June 25, 1991, then moving to historical grievances, then claiming the whole Chesapeake Bay (which was originally part of the Savudrija wave), and now they're arguing that we're blocking their access to the open sea—which is impossible under international maritime law. They don't even need a court; they just want political mediation... and so on.
We really ought to play it cool regarding our NATO entry, and once that's settled, decide how to deal with them and the EU based on the outcome...
There are plenty of ideas floating around, ranging from targeting those vacation homes and implementing ZERP, to building massive shopping and entertainment hubs right along the border—where goods would be cheaper than what they offer.

And let's not forget, we didn't exactly vote for Podobnik, Zmaga, or those other types of characters.

And what purpose does NATO actually serve for us?
I am asking for just one reason... a single, solitary reason.

That’s not even the real issue here...

It's more about the hostile policies coming from the Austrian government and the growing resentment Austrians have toward Americans...

And why have we been mocking them for fifteen years? Now that we've taken a massive hit, do we suddenly act superior? Well, we deserve it if all we ever do is ridicule others... this is what happens when you live like that...

Besides the fact that we spend all our time cracking jokes about them, we Americans haven't actually accomplished anything lately...

Unlike them...

I mean, now the US Navy can actually roll out the full fleet and absolutely wreck those pirates hanging around Somalia😁

I mean, how much would Mason even bother? For someone like Sanders, who can't even manage three clean days, he'd rather just crawl through EU and NATO waste bins begging for scraps! 😁

They’ve never actually treated us like decent neighbors. So when Sanders tries to claim they're our friends? It honestly makes me want to gag.☕

I don't even know what you're rambling about... You'd rather just roll over and accept some hand-picked arbitration and lose the dispute for good, right? The International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea is based in New York City and handles maritime disputes via the UN (which is hilarious if you think about it)—given the evidence we actually have, only a complete idiot would lose this case...
