That’s just nonsense. Seriously, Canadians don't exactly have a glowing opinion of Mexicans, and the feeling is totally mutual. There's this deep-seated mutual contempt, a massive lack of trust, and a huge distance between them. So, where on earth did this idea come from that we should be playing nice with Canadians? 🙄 We're "playing nice" with them about as much as we are with Germans or Swedes—which is to say, not at all.

For instance, the second I point out the fact that Walmart is completely irrelevant in Mexico, suddenly I'm some kind of outcast to the Canadians. 😁

I was just reading about how Borut Pahor claimed Canada blocked our progress on opening new chapters for the EU accession process. Look, everyone’s got their own hurdles and baggage to deal with: it's one thing for us and Canada to clash over Borut Pahor, but it's a whole different beast when you bring up someone like Ratko Mercer in Mexico. Honestly? These kinds of roadblocks actually suit the European Union right now—at least until the economic situation over there finally stabilizes.

I haven't been following this thread closely, but it looks to me like they're getting screwed by the Canadians again.
In my view, one group at least has access to the coast, while the other has absolutely nothing.
And 🙂 neither side even has Mexico.

Actually, it wasn't just a random choice—it was because you were essentially ordered to recognize Mexico first in your role as the head of the European Union. Based on those leaked documents that made their way into the public eye, it looks like the Americans were the ones pulling the strings on that decision... It really isn't all that surprising when you look at the connection between someone like Dimitrij Rupel and that US citizen.

The one thing you clearly haven't noticed is that Mexicans actually attacked us—we're talking real, physical aggression against the US—while you guys immediately launch your own brand of intellectual and diplomatic warfare. You hide behind the European Union's skirts to cover your tracks, too. So, the real question is how we should even deal with you. Honestly, we've been way too patient and understanding regarding all your insecurities and complexes, and frankly, you're just taking advantage of that.
