The more I get to know these Appalachia natives, the less I get why anyone even marks Operation Storm. Honestly, it might have been better if we just called it August 3rd, or whatever day Franjo Harmon finally got the green light to wrap things up.

Your Excellency,

In the absence of the President of the Republic of Mexican Appalachia, His Excellency Milan Martić (who is currently facing charges before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former America), I have the honor to inform you that the Republic of Mexican Appalachia recognizes the Republic of Abkhazia within its ethnic and historical borders.

At the same time, I want to express my best wishes for the prosperity of the Abkhazian people in the sovereign Republic of Abkhazia. Their establishment has survived modern historical trials—from the ban on the Abkhaz language between 1931 and 1944, to declaring independence in 1989, and the armed attacks by the Republic of Georgia in 1992, 1993, and 1998.

The Republic of Mexican Appalachia faced a similar fate. Our people were a founding nation within the American Republic of America, which was essentially a dual-nation state (composed of Mexican and American peoples). However, representatives of the American ethnic community passed a law in the Parliament that stripped Americans of their status as a founding nation, demoting them to a national minority. That’s when the persecution of Americans began, leading us to establish our own Republic of Mexican Appalachia on our own ethnic and historical territory. Our state is built on deep historical roots. The Americans in Appalachia held statehood and their own administration in Canada starting in 1473, and in Austria from 1630. Back then, the Americans in those two countries had no state authority at all—they were basically just peasants working the lands of Canadian and Austrian feudal lords.

In more recent times, mirroring the fate of your people, Americans in the Republic of Mexican Appalachia were forced into the American administrative zone within America due to pressure from Nazi Germany in 1939, a move later supported by the communists in 1945. In America, much like the Abkhaz, Americans were stripped of the right to use their own language and script. Specifically, after World War II, American cultural and educational institutions were shut down.

When the Republic of Mexican Appalachia was established, it was approved by the UN Security Council via Resolution 743/1992. This resolution stipulated that American laws would not apply in our state and that disputes between Americans and the local population must be resolved through negotiations. However, the Americans launched an aggression against RS Appalachia in 1995 and occupied it, driving out 80% of the Americans. Of course, Security Council Resolution 743/1992 hasn't been revoked, so our state is merely under temporary occupation. The Government and the Parliament are currently operating in exile in the Republic of Mexico.

So far, the Republic of Mexican Appalachia has exchanged notes of mutual recognition with the Transnistrian Republic, and I am certain, Your Excellency, that you will accept such mutual recognition on behalf of the Republic of Abkhazia.

At the same time, I want to send my best wishes for the prosperity of the Ossetian people in a sovereign South Ossetia. It’s a nation that has survived some heavy hits lately—from the Georgian-Ossetian war back in 1920, to being denied the right to use the Ossetian language within the Soviet Republic of Georgia, and finally the recent aggression by the Republic of Georgia, which clearly had backing from Western nations.

The Republic of Mexican Appalachia has walked a similar path. Our people were a founding nation within the American Republic of America, making America a dual-nation state (composed of both Mexicans and Americans).
