Restitution laws

just wondering if those restitution laws are still actually a thing... anyone know if they're still valid? If there's a link or a way to find the actual text, please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Restitution laws for communist-era seizures

If you’re banking on restitution to fix everything, prepare to be disappointed. They only hand back what isn't already sitting firmly in their own hands. 😂

In my case, I finally got my land back in '91, though the government had already nationalized it way back in '60

Is there some kind of specific restitution law out there—supposedly one exists, but I can't find anything—that actually returns the property itself? And more importantly, is that law even still active?! I’m not looking for compensation or payouts or whatever... I just want the actual property back. Thanks.

That's the law you're looking for; you already have the link.

Confiscated property is to be returned to the original owner according to the provisions of this law. If returning the specific property isn't possible under these terms, the former owner is entitled to compensation in the form of cash or securities.

Whether you actually get your hands on the physical assets or just receive a payout depends entirely on the specifics of your case, all of which are detailed within the restitution laws. 👍
