..Have you ever actually been honest with yourself and admitted that you hurt someone, even if you didn't mean to? How did it sit with you afterward? Did it leave you carrying a weight? I’ve hurt two women in my life, and I own that—it's a burden I still carry. It wasn't out of malice; I never intended to cause pain to either of them, but it happened anyway, and there's no running away from your own actions. That aftermath is brutal. It feels like a constant knot of guilt in your gut. What was it like for you guys?

Look, if you hadn't been there, they probably would've come for you instead. Honestly, just be glad things turned out this way, you know? I guess you shouldn't let it get to you too much... maybe just let it go

Look, I’ve definitely taken a few of them down, but honestly? It was only because they came at me first. I finished them off, and at first, it felt great—total rush. Then the guilt hit, you know? I realized I was being a complete bitch. But then I’d just sit there, replay everything they did to screw me over, and suddenly I wasn't feeling sorry anymore. In fact, I started wishing I’d been even more ruthless.

I don't quite follow that twisted logic... I think I'd feel a whole lot better if I just handled things my own way.

Of course it happened. It was bound to happen at some point.
But honestly? A sincere apology can work wonders—for everyone involved.
Look, humans are flawed by nature. We all end up doing something incredibly stupid sooner or later.

Look, I’ve sat down and given a sincere apology to both of them on several different occasions. I truly meant it. The hardest part was hearing one girl tell me straight to my face that I’m just someone who brings her pain. That's stuck with me; it's burned into my heart to this day. I never set out to hurt anyone or cause trouble—but I did.

You missed the mark, sure—but he offered a sincere apology, and frankly, that’s enough. He knows he messed up, but what else does he owe you? Spend the next year beating himself up over it? That seems excessive. Just try not to trip over the same stone twice next time; there isn't much deeper philosophy to be found in that.

Look, this kind of stuff has happened before, and honestly, I feel like it’s just going to keep happening down the road too. Sometimes I get hit with this wave of guilt, you know? But then other times, I don't really feel like I'm in the wrong, mostly because the whole issue stems from my own headspace—like, my inability to actually *feel* certain things—and I guess you can't really control how your brain works, right? It's just not something I have any say over. But hey, I’ll apologize regardless. If they're a decent, normal person, they’ll probably just get it and move on, but if they aren't... well, they can just deal with it themselves, I suppose. 🤷
