I remember back when I was just a little kid, maybe three or four years old, how I used to get so incredibly excited about—how did I put it back then?—bare feet! 😁
It always felt like this weird mix of emotions, you know? Like, part of me was thinking, ugh, that’s gross, they probably smell! But at the same time, I was totally mesmerized by them! 😁
I don't think I even really understood what I wanted to do with them yet, but I honestly felt like I just wanted to eat them up! 😂

I used to be ashamed of my fetish until I realized just how common it actually is. It’s a thing for me—sneezing, specifically when it's a woman under 30 or 35. If it's an older lady or some guy, I don't feel a thing. Otherwise, seeing a girl struggling with allergies or a cold makes me want to pull her straight into bed. 😍 🙈

Nobody actually knows how a fetish "develops"—anyone claiming otherwise is just lying.

Roger Morgan4 said:I honestly find it hard to believe there’s such a massive obsession with foot fetishes lately. It feels like most people popping up in these discussions are either just trolling for attention or wildly exaggerating things. Just because someone finds it a little appealing doesn't mean they're deep into a fetish.

Based on what you just said, you’ve got much bigger issues than just a fetish.

Is looking at a woman's feet basically the same high as looking at her chest??🤷

YES! 😁

I don't know if you'd call it a full-on fetish, but there are certain parts of the body that just hit different for me—I could honestly stare at them for hours if they're shaped just right 🤷 That’s actually how I figured it out, you know? Just by staring and realizing how good it made me feel.

OH YEAH. Honestly, most guys have a thing for feet, though I couldn't tell you exactly why.

For me, there's something really attractive about seeing a woman with well-kept hands, feet, or nails. To me, it shows she takes care of herself, both physically and mentally.

Since I'm a guy who puts effort into my own grooming too, I appreciate it when a woman does the same.

There’s just something about seeing long, slender fingers... man, even thinking about it gets my head spinning. Like, imagining those hands running through your hair or grazing your face and body. I won't get carried away getting too descriptive here! 😁

Nah, it’s just that foot fetishes are the most common one. Everyone else isn't interested enough to actually bother making a post.

I honestly think it’s great seeing girls in halter tops and corsets, or just generally wearing sexy lingerie. Sometimes leather and high heels are definitely on the table too. I don't really consider it a fetish, more like just being turned on.😬

I’ve always been perfectly fine with my fetish. I don't see any reason to join those crowds who spend all their energy feeling ashamed or trying to "cure" themselves. Honestly, it’s quite a pleasant way to live. I don't have demanding or unrealistic expectations; I just genuinely appreciate the sight of a great pair of legs, some stylish boots, or even just a nice set of stockings.
It basically turns a simple stroll down the Santa Monica Pier—or just walking around town—into something enjoyable for me. It definitely plays a role in my sex life, too. My wife actually loves getting foot massages, which is something I am more than happy to provide. At the end of the day, a fetish can be a genuine asset to intimacy, provided it stays balanced. As long as it doesn't interfere with your daily responsibilities or mess with your actual connection in the bedroom, there's really no harm in it.
That’s just my two cents based on how things work in my house. Take it or leave it.🙂

I honestly think the concept of a "fetish" is becoming something much more common than people care to admit. Take a look at the mainstream: most guys are obsessed with big breasts or curvy hips, and you see that constantly pushed by the media just because that’s what the majority responds to.
With feet, I’m noticing it's becoming a much more frequent topic of conversation, too. I’d bet anything that if we were talking about this even a few years ago, someone bringing it up might have been labeled a total deviant or a creep. But the reality is that sexuality is shaped by our environment and, frankly, just by who we are as individuals.

In my view, there isn't really such a thing as a "fetish" in isolation; instead, there are just sexual preferences and practices. Some might be harmless, while others could potentially involve risk for the person or their partner—and that's where we should actually focus our attention and step in if necessary.
So, if someone finds themselves getting turned on by looking at their partner's feet, they aren't some lunatic running around town causing trouble; they're just someone who has integrated that part of anatomy into their sexuality, which is beautiful precisely because human desire is so diverse.
People really ought to drop the old-fashioned prejudices, sit down and have an honest talk with their partner, and just enjoy themselves rather than being held back by outdated social stigmas.

Hehe, it seems this discussion on fetishes has somehow morphed into a thread all about feet 🤣
I don't personally view it as anything particularly sinister. Beyond all that, if one considers that "fetish" carries a certain religious weight before it ever takes on a sexual connotation... 🙂

Across various cultures throughout history, feet have played a significant erotic role; there is absolutely nothing pathological or shameful about that.

When we speak of fetishism in a strictly sexual context, my view is that it occurs when someone—and yes, this applies to women as well, I am quite certain of that—develops an exclusive fixation on a specific body part, or perhaps a particular type of clothing, to the point where they cannot experience arousal or intimacy without it. In that sense, true fetishism acts as a form of dehumanization toward the sexual "object," which I believe is what truly unsettles us.

You make a fair point regarding the definition of fixation; that's pretty much how the experts define it. My comment was more of a general observation that didn't necessarily need academic backing, but thanks for weighing in—the last part of your post is spot on, though it probably applies more to those extreme cases where actual therapy might be needed.
Now, thinking about it, I just remembered a "fetish" that I'm certain nobody else shares: the sound a microwave makes when it finishes heating something up. That annoying *beep beep beep beep beepeeeeeee*... 😠

I have a thing for tall, charming, witty, and smart Black men..:😛
Usually, when people say things like "I love harnesses" or "it’s cute when someone kisses my neck," they aren't talking about actual fetishes..
Anyone else here unable to get in the mood without seeing, say, leopard print?😁

One interesting thing I read in an article about fetishes is that over 90% of the "fetish population" is male..
How does that work?

Hahahaha... honestly, I’ve always had a bit of a thing for men 🤣

But really, there was this one phase where I was actually obsessed with my boyfriends' underwear, if you can believe it... pffffffffffffff
Though, thankfully, that little phase has passed

Honey, that wasn't even a fetish. Once those things wake up, they don't go away—they just get more intense as you get older.😉
I’m still waiting for a confession from some hardcore wood fetishist... "I can't get turned on by anything except timber..." yeah, right, people exist like that too.😛

I suspect the thread starter wasn't actually referring to patients of that nature 😁 but rather, you know, those who enjoy more standard, vanilla fetishes.

However, since we have opened this particular door, I have a close friend who is quite the dedicated enthusiast. He is absolutely obsessed with latex, rubber, PVC, masks, and all that sort of thing; nothing else seems to do it for him at all. And, I must add, it is certainly not an inexpensive hobby...

Aha... vanilla fetishes... okay then. I'll stick to what I said earlier... you know, the good, the beautiful, and the wealthy.😁
I actually have a "friend" like that too.😂😉

Don't be shy about it—just admit the guy has a massive crush on you!🤣

I honestly think he’s a great friend, though... 😁
