Hey there,
So, I ended up in a wreck myself, and now I’m stuck dealing with all the fallout.
The whole thing went down in the USA, involving an official vehicle while I was on a work trip. The police showed up and filed a

Since the accident, I've been dealing with some pretty nasty health issues, plus the financial headache of footing the bill for doctors (not talking bribes here, just actual medical expenses). Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to actually go about filing a claim with the insurance company—or whoever is liable—to get reimbursed for everything I've spent?

Any advice or tips would be huge.

Dealing with some cervical strain and a concussion.

You’ve got your personal auto policy and your coverage through work... just file the claim and see how they react

Yeah, but honestly, I don't even know where to kick things off. I really need to find someone—like a solid law firm or a specialized agency—who actually lives and breathes this stuff, just to walk me through the whole checklist so I can make sure everything is absolutely airtight and foolproof.

I assume your company has a legal department or something for that?

Unfortunately, I don't have any lawyers on staff at my company, and honestly, none of my coworkers can say anything remotely useful about this.

So far, the only thing I've managed to dig up is some site called InjuryClaim.com.
Has anyone here actually dealt with them before, or does anyone know if they’re legit?

The car is under a lease deal and comes with full coverage, but they conveniently dodged the question when I asked about the specifics—clearly, they aren't exactly incentivized to be helpful when it comes to that stuff...

Just head over to your insurance provider—State Farm or Geico, whoever you're with—and ask for a formal claim form. Fill out the paperwork and get it submitted... It’s straightforward enough for you to handle on your own, given your writing skills. Once they process it, they'll reach out with a settlement offer or just wire the funds directly to your account. If the payout doesn't sit right with you? Well, then you can always take it to a top-tier attorney to file a lawsuit. That's really all there is to it.
