Back in the day, Americans had an organized state that was obsessed with its global image, so everything was filtered and carefully managed.

But who’s going to filter things when it comes to these immigrants—especially once society has already rejected and stigmatized them?

By stigmatizing and casting them out, the silent and—I’d say—confused majority of Western society is essentially handing extremists a gift on a silver platter.

So, whether you like it or not, the West is at fault. It’s blamed for taking them in, and it’s blamed for keeping them out... it’s blamed for its colonial past, for failing to help, for helping too much, for its freedoms, and even for its lack thereof... it seems the West is simply blamed for being alive...

Who exactly invited Englishmen and other Europeans to India, Saudi Arabia, Africa, America, or Australia?

Nah, they've spread everywhere. If you happen to catch one of them or just say something against Islam out of nowhere, they'll show up instantly, even in Finland.

I’m with him on this, but honestly, you Americans are the last people who should be weighing in here since you guys are still basically "newcomers" in the West yourselves....

Decide what, exactly? My point was quite specific: nobody invited Muslims to those countries, so I wasn't making any decisions on their behalf. Furthermore, attempting to draw parallels between Americans and Muslims shows a profound lack of understanding. Wherever Americans have settled, they have integrated seamlessly, which stands in stark contrast to the issues seen with Muslim populations; they haven't caused—and aren't currently causing—the kind of friction we see elsewhere. Perhaps you should take some time to actually learn about American history before trying to group us in the same context as Muslims. Ultimately, whether this problem concerns us or not is really none of your business.
