It’s probably supposed to be from 8:00 to 1:00, unless they have some weird, flexible hours or whatever.
Can someone please tell me again? I need to know!

How long does the approval process typically take for a Diners Club revolving card?

I’m also wondering if they take a hard look at my current debt and existing credit lines, similar to how a bank evaluates a mortgage or personal loan application. To give you some context, my monthly take-home pay is roughly $2167, while my total outstanding debt sits around $3,500. I'm honestly not sure if there's anything on my credit report or what my standing looks like with Hrok. I dealt with some financial setbacks about two or three years ago, but I’ve since cleared everything up; I’m making all my payments on time, I don't carry any other credit cards, and I don't have any outstanding checks or anything like that.

Thanks 🙂

To get a Diners Club revolving line, you have to be using their standard card for at least six months. They don't care about your Hrok or any other debts you might have out there; they only care if you've been paying your specific card bills on time. You should see an approval pretty quickly, too—it only took two days for mine to go through after I applied.

I am so done with them and their approval process. I paid my bills religiously for nine months straight, and I never missed a single $667, yet they still rejected me flat out.
I don't have any major beef with them otherwise, but if this is how they handle people, then screw them!

I mean, I don't know, they actually mailed me the application form themselves, and since I could really use a bit of a cash infusion right now, I just sent back the completed request. Now I'm just sitting here waiting on 🤷😕

Quick question

The ECB online portal shows a "next billing date" like 02/08/2016. I'm trying to wrap my head around how this works—if I pick up some goods or services on 02/08, does that charge actually hit the bill in February, or am I looking at a March statement?

I’d probably go with Diners Club, but there's this nagging issue from a while back. I had this old parking ticket from maybe $100 years ago that finally resurfaced as a legal garnishment since I only had a few bucks left in my account. Honestly, I don't mind it too much; once my paycheck hits at the end of the week, they'll just take what they're owed and my account should be unfrozen. My main question is, will Diners Club give me trouble because of that deduction? Just to be clear—I'm not on any blacklists or anything; my bank still considers me a "reliable" customer.

From what I understand, when Diners Club approves a card, they don't look at HROK. They only check the credit bureau reports. So, it shouldn't be an issue.

Great, thanks. I'll go ahead and fill out the online application and just wait to hear back.

The HROK won't show any garnishments either—the only way Diners would ever catch wind of an attachment is if you’re using a protected account where they can see part of your paycheck diverted to a different account while the rest hits yours. Honestly, they're mostly just going to look at whether your total take-home pay—including any travel stipends—is sufficient, your previous credit card history, and your steady employment status. Since your entire paycheck is landing directly in your account, it shouldn't be an issue.

Does my credit score matter, and do I need to be working full-time? Thanks.

Folks, what’s the deal with approval times now that Diners Club is part of HROK?
Has anyone applied recently only to find they already have existing charges showing up?

To whom it may concern,

I am looking into picking up a new television using my Diners Club card, specifically through an installment plan, and I see the limit for these types of purchases is set at $1467.

The TV I have my eye on actually costs $2167—so, given that amount, how exactly can I go about structuring this into 12 monthly installments?

Best regards,

Give them a call and ask for a one-time credit limit increase.

Then you just sit there praying they actually say yes.

I called them about something similar once. They told me I'd need to send over my most recent paystub and authorize a credit check first... then they'd decide on the new limit.
