I honestly think we’d have a much better discussion if we talked about the conditions in our prison system... they're just way too harsh and overcrowded.

Yeah, I heard they’re cracking down hard lately. Everything is moving way faster through the courts now—no more playing around. I guess it’s finally election season. 🙄

Building new prisons? Or perhaps even the privatization of the penal system?

Man, look, there isn't a jail tougher than Rikers... it’s basically a holding facility, so they go absolutely overboard with the crackdown. You've even got people in there just for unpaid fines, and they treat them like hardened criminals since the stay is supposed to be short. Anyway, that show about Oz is worth a watch, I guess, but reality hits way differently. Just speaking from my own experience...

So one of my buddies was telling me he ended up stuck in a holding cell for like 12 hours straight... just totally wiped out from his trip

You really gotta play nice with the cops... call them "sir" or "officer," you know? Everyone acts all friendly until you step out of line. Then they’ll use tactics on you that you wouldn't even believe in your worst nightmares—honestly, how low can people actually go?... I've been through it all, seen it all... if you haven't, consider yourself lucky. My best advice? Stay as far away from jail as you possibly can.

Look, I'm not saying that's how it is, but groups like the Aryan Brotherhood, the Mexican Mafia, or the Black Guerrilla Family? Yeah, they exist...
