Anonymous said:Sorry if I’m posting in the wrong sub, but I wanted to ask—how do you guys express pain? For me, I tend to be pretty blunt and constantly snap at people... it’s almost like an impulse I can't control. Everyone just gets under my skin, and I feel this constant urge to take someone down a notch, even when they're actually trying to be there for me. I know it’s not the best way to handle things, but honestly, I just can't seem to help myself. 😳

I'm just wandering through a graveyard... a cheap, run-down one at that!

I mean, I keep telling myself... who even knows why this is actually a good thing?

I’ve reached a level of cynicism so profound, I’m starting to lose my own appetite...🙄

Since my face basically acts like an open book, and I’ve never really had much of a talent for keeping secrets or playing pretend, I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve, letting every single emotion—especially the painful ones—show through completely unchecked.
If someone manages to actually hurt my feelings, which, thank God, isn't a daily occurrence... I’m going to call them out on it right then and there, plain and simple.
It works the same way with anger, too, or if I'm feeling genuinely happy... I just let it fly.
As for how I'd handle the crushing weight of losing someone truly dear to me, I honestly couldn't say for sure... I suppose I'd probably express that grief just as openly, unless I ended up retreating into myself, but I'd likely lean into any genuine comfort people tried to offer me.
