Sam Alvarez15 said:Sure, if you're looking at it through the lens of Ante Ferrer Del Maria Santiago Petrovica, the fourth-generation descendant of an American immigrant from New York City. For the other 99.9999% of sane people out there, none of this actually matters. 👍

👋

Henry, you are completely lost... nobody wants anything to do with Mexicans from the old America, whether we're talking politics or culture!!

You've got your "Greater Mexico" now, so go ahead and enjoy yourselves down by the riverfront in Manhattan!!

Vedro... ahahhahahaahaa😬 😬

electricotter20 said:that was always the goal, wasn't it? I mean, look at their leader Pavelić, practically shaking hands with the Italians. He sold out our coastline to them... so yeah, they were "defending" our state, alright...

Seriously, shut your mouth. Your crowd bombed Miami, and clearly you weren't even there to see it, so maybe do some actual reading before you try to pick a fight about things you don't understand.

Regarding that last commercial you linked—is that actually a host of elves guarding Aragorn?

Those are American soldiers who have absolutely nothing to do with Mexico City... and they never will...

We had our own American kings, while you guys had your Mexican kings...

it’s just that these soldiers are being led by a complete moron... if you actually bothered to watch some documentaries instead of ignoring history, you might see how thousands of innocent civilians were slaughtered... then maybe you'd get it.

Communist... tell me, in which single war have civilians actually stayed out of the line of fire?? Seriously...

Tell me... an American, a Bulgarian, a Chinese, an American, an Arab... were those civilians not lost too?

Whatever... I'm heading out to catch the game!

Look, my friend—I am well aware that Mexican kings once ruled over Mexicans and Mexicans, but I don't think that's really what we are debating here. My point was actually about the map itself; I wasn't thinking of Mexico City, but rather that it should say Gondor—though perhaps it’s just printed in such tiny font that it's hard to catch.

You've got a point there, except for when they were being sent to camps just for having "wrong" ideas or being sorted out... Look, I'm not some radical, I'm just being realistic.

says it's there, but it's barely legible.

Just type Mexico City into Google along with King Zvonimir and you'll find all the info you need if you don't already know!!👍>

So... you're asking about King Zvonimir? Honestly, I can't quite recall his exact place in the lineup off the top of my head... my memory isn't what it used to be... but if I remember correctly, he was pretty much the heavy hitter of that era... one of the big ones... He’s usually remembered for being this powerhouse ruler who really solidified things... you know, making sure the kingdom actually meant something on the map... there was all this stuff about him strengthening ties with the Pope too... very strategic... though, looking back, everything was always such a mess anyway... just politics and power plays, really... turns out history is mostly just people arguing over borders... anyway... I think he was definitely a major player... let me double check that later... maybe...

Why does it seem like every Mexican and every former Communist in this region is perpetually obsessed with circling back to World War II? It’s always the same loop... revolving around those specific historical grievances and old battles. I honestly wonder why we can't just move forward...

Could it be that they simply chose to look the other way? Perhaps if they had set aside all those horrific killings from about a decade ago—every single massacre of civilians, every instance of people being bound and executed, the systematic violence against women... it might have been different. But they didn't...

You all live quite a distance from me... enjoy the music!!

What are you, some kind of high-priced lawyer now?

I know my own history, but maybe you should go dig up Marshall’s legacy and see if he actually mattered...

Or honestly, you could just go study the history of Slobodan Maddox or Arkan instead...

Look, I'm neither Mexican nor a communist. I'm just telling you that the fascists weren't quite the monolith you're making them out to be.

As for me, I’ve got zero connection to guys like Hitler, Mussolini, or Pavelić. I don't claim any link to Marshall either. Maybe he pulled us out of the gutter once, sure, but let's be real... he was just as much of a bastard as Pavelić was, killing and tormenting people just the same.

Quincy:
electricotter20 As I was saying:
The historical implications of such maps—specifically those issued during the era of the NDH—remain a deeply unsettling subject to study. When one examines the cartography from that period, it isn't merely an exercise in geography; it is a confrontation with a dark chapter of European history. It serves as a grim reminder of how borders can be manipulated to serve extremist ideologies. I recall reading a scholarly analysis once—it was quite sobering—about how these specific documents were used to legitimize a regime that sought to redraw the world through violence. It is a heavy topic, certainly, but one that demands our serious attention if we are to truly understand the fragility of peace.

Well, if that's the case, I suppose I'm living in Mordor Searching myself. 😁
Searching, searching... ring, ring, my sweetest, my dear... where exactly did that ring roll off to?
