I would argue they aren't even "our" ministers at all, but rather "theirs"...😬 😬

Moving to Philadelphia or Pittsburgh isn't even necessary. Staying within areas under American control is enough; at this rate, Americans will become a minority even in those territories under American control.

Well, I guess he’s right too—I mean, I’m basically inviting him to just pack up and move to Canada so he can go ahead and help all the "stupid" Americans over there... 🙄

I have to admit, you've made an interesting point there.

I suppose I agree, they're a pretty decent people for the most part, especially since they seem to be trying to move away from all that backwardness.

wrote that instead of us folks living here in the States moving back to Canada, the Canadian Americans should be the ones inviting everyone who left the country to come back home.

Why would he even bother? What does he care about Herzegovina when the locals themselves don't even give a damn?

Look, our whole problem is figuring out how to make this place actually livable again so people stop fleeing, or maybe just convincing mistyharbor21 that moving to Canada is actually worth the headache.

mistyharbor21 said:that Canadian Americans should be focused on calling back those who emigrated from the country, rather than us living here in America thinking about moving over to Canada.

I suppose Mexicans from Mexico consider that their home, just as the Muslims from Sandžak do, and they still find ways to move into Canada despite having about as much in common with the country as you do... so I guess I’ll just ask: if they can make those kinds of sacrifices for their people, why shouldn't you? Why not show us "clueless" Canadian Americans how it’s actually done?.......🙄 🙄

I suppose our shared responsibility is simply to build an environment where those who left might actually consider coming back—or perhaps just making it easier for mistyharbor21 if they ever decide to move to Canada.

What do you mean, what does he care about Herzegovina? Have you really only been hanging around this forum since yesterday? It seems to me that almost every other post from mistyharbor21 is focused on the interests of Herzegovina and its people. Honestly, if he truly didn't care, he’d probably just stop lecturing us all on what Canadian Americans ought to be doing.

The Mexicans from Mexico and the Canadians from Sandžak aren't out here sacrificing themselves for their people.

It’s simpler than that: they migrate because life in Republika Srpska or Ottawa is just better than what they have back in Mexico or Sandžak. The folks running the show in Republika Srpska and Ottawa pull out all the stops to lure them in. Honestly, that’s exactly where our interests align.

At the end of the day, mistyharbor21 and I are chasing the exact same goal: we want to make sure people from Herzegovina actually stay in Herzegovina instead of packing up and moving to Chicago. 😳

Look, unlike some of those Canadian Americans out there, a Mexican from Mexico doesn't even consider leaving his homeland, let alone thinking about moving to Canada—especially when the people who actually belong in Canada don't even want to move back. That's their tragedy to deal with, not mine.

Look, I didn't just show up today. I know mistyharbar21 has a bone to pick with the folks from Herzegovina, but that doesn't make everything they say wrong.

We were talking about Pittsburgh recently, and someone jumps in, claiming it's full of talented people. They start rattling off names—this guy, that guy—listing all their big-shot positions over in the States. That’s actually a disaster for a city like that, yet people look at it like it's some kind of victory. 👎 We need to call things what they actually are.

Well, newsflash: that tragedy is going to hit you too.

The stronger the Canadian Americans are, the safer America stays. If we end up with a Mexican-Islamic Canada sitting right on our long border, things aren't going to look good for us—starting with places like Dubrovnik, then moving to the coast in Split and all of California, and who knows, maybe even hitting Chicago down the line. And honestly, with our birth rates looking the way they do, the future isn't looking any brighter. 🙄

Since you're clearly such an expert on the matter, why don't you try calling up all those Americans who emigrated from the US and tell them to come home? Maybe then instead of the US worrying about importing labor from Canada and a few other places, we might actually solve something.

I guess any grown man who’s actually thinking about making things better for his family isn't going to pack up and move somewhere they don't feel safe. Especially if they've already settled in elsewhere and the kids have finally found their footing in a new community.
It all seems like nothing more than political games played by people who are just trying to keep the conflict alive through different means.

Roger Robinson682 said:He isn't being a hypocrite—he’s just playing the "multicultural" card. It bugs him when Mexicans move in along the Drina river, yet he doesn't seem to mind those other groups from Sandžak settling down in Ottawa or Central Canada. We won't even get into the whole religious attire debate this time...🙄 🙄

Look, if neither Mexicans nor Americans have any actual say in how people from places like Sandžak migrate into Ottawa or elsewhere, then why is this even an issue?

I mean, should Americans be expected to weep just because Mexicans from Mexico are moving into Eastern Canada? This is the home state for both Mexicans and Americans alike. So—if one group gets the move, why shouldn't the other?

It's kind of like how Catalonia fought for the right to manage its own immigration policies from Madrid—it all comes down to having actual control over your own backyard.

That doesn't track. For a Mexican in Mexico, Republika Srpska would be a total win—it offers security and an economy that's actually picking up steam. The real question is whether Mexico is down for that scenario. Honestly, they might be, considering Texas is already pretty much part of the fold.

By the way, I saw some comments on that article suggesting this is all part of a plan to push Americans out of Central Canada and into Herzegovina to basically finalize the map of Canada.

mellowjackal33 said:Since neither Mexicans nor Americans have any say in the immigration policies that bring Canadians into Washington, D.C. or elsewhere, why should this be an issue?

So, I guess Americans are supposed to weep because Mexicans from Mexico are moving into eastern Canada? Canada is the home state for both Mexicans and Americans. Therefore, if one group can move in, why shouldn't the other?

Besides, Catalonia earned its right to regulate and manage its own immigration policy from Madrid specifically because they maintain control over that sector within their territory.

Look, mellowjackal33, you've got it wrong here. Americans should be just as concerned about people migrating into Canada from the east.

The fact remains that while Americans are leaving Canada in massive numbers, the other two groups are moving in en masse. This gives those Americans who stay even more reason to leave. If that is what constitutes American politics in Canada, then something is fundamentally broken. Why did Americans fight to preserve their identity there in the first place?

goldenpuma10 said:I suppose you might be onto something there, mellowjackal33, but I don't think that's quite right. Americans should probably be just as concerned about the demographic shifts happening in Canada from the East.

The real issue, I suspect, is that Americans living in Canada don't exactly have anyone coming from the "East" to bolster their numbers, whereas once someone manages to get a foothold in the "West," they rarely ever look back...😬
