Everything can be healed. Unless you decide to give up on yourself first.

I really wanted to weigh in on this.
My mother was a doctor, and she ended up fighting liver cancer.
I was just a kid at the time, but everyone tells me she fought tooth and nail until the very end.
Looking back, I sometimes wish she had used her medical knowledge to capture one last scan or write a letter for us.
After all, if you’re a physician and you see those test results knowing the end is near, what kind of battle are you actually fighting?
You know you might only have two months left, yet you still hold onto hope that you'll pull through.
Maybe the morphine just clouded her judgment a bit. roleeyes

Pretty good read.
If I have to get to work, I might as well make sure there’s some serious profit involved, right?😬

I’ve got my notepad ready.😁
The only way I can get this down is by treating it like an essay.
I just hopped online, so now I’m all set to get to work.😍

Brenda Cook4, my brain is still in a bit of a fog right now, but I’ll definitely be wide awake by this evening. In the meantime, could you please consider this? Just because I have such a vivid inner world doesn't necessarily mean I have the talent to actually create something from it.
I have to admit, my energy levels are pretty low today.
What you're asking of me is honestly quite a heavy lift.
I could certainly write a book just to prove that someone dealing with schizophrenia is capable of it, but Paul Cézanne already paved the way there. Well, maybe he wasn't technically schizophrenic, but they did put him through electroshock therapy, so who knows?

Let’s break this down, one piece at a time. It’s much easier to digest when you don't try to swallow the whole thing at once. Think of it like building a custom home in the suburbs—you don't just wake up with a finished kitchen; you start with the foundation, move to the framing, and eventually work your way up to the finishing touches. You have to respect the process.
Can you actually write on a forum and suddenly grab everyone's attention like that? Do you have any real ideas to pull it off? Any insights to share? Are you even interested in speaking up? And if you are—what exactly is it that you want to say?

Maybe the simplest way to look at it—which is exactly what you’ve been doing here on the forum lately—is to view it as pure communication. Think of it as sharing your own lived experience. You aren't just posting; you're offering a hand to others, shedding light on things they might have missed, or maybe even sparking a bit of inspiration. It's really just about passing along some hard-earned advice.

Imagine if, while you're sitting there typing away, you were actually just grabbing a coffee and talking to a close friend. It changes everything, doesn't it?

I'm sure you can find plenty of websites out there dedicated to publishing, grammar tools, and professional editors.😘

Maybe you should sit down and sketch out a rough outline before you dive into the actual writing. Just grab some paper and jot down a few bullet points about what you really want to get across... it helps to have a roadmap.

I just want to point out that people living with schizophrenia are human beings too.

Exactly! They aren't some different species altogether!

Honestly, whether someone is gay, a trans person, physically disabled, a killer, or just a diabetic, if they bring valuable data to this forum, they should be heard just the same.
Though, I suppose I’m probably closest to the killer in that group.

Why are you so desperate to see me leave this forum? I've only been here for a month.

No, look—people vent about their problems all the time, but they rarely bring this much depth, style, or sheer mental energy to the table. Everything you shared was framed around the possibility of you creating something... though, obviously, only if that’s actually what you want to do.

Besides, you didn't even dump a ton of raw data on us... what I really saw from you was this incredibly powerful, moving stream of consciousness.

No worries, if that works for me, I can just go shirtless on the front page too.
The thing is, my brain is just totally fogged up right now. My doctor even told me that she doesn't care how hard it is—I just have to get it done—but honestly, I’m just not there yet.
I would love nothing more than to help out current and future people living with schizophrenia, but unfortunately, I just can't do it right now. When I set my mind to something, I follow through. I find it impossible to start something unless I can actually see the finish line.😎

And here we go again, someone treating me like I can’t even type my own thoughts because they think I need help dictating since I'm short on cash.

I spent some time today reflecting on this whole writing thing. I’m only 28. Honestly, if I don't have much to say about myself before I hit 50, who cares? It doesn't mean my life is over. I certainly am not going to give up on it😁.

Back when I wrote that essay for my uncle, it was really just an attempt to make them understand where I'm coming from. But even after reading it five times, it didn't exactly feel like a breakthrough for my soul.

A friend actually asked me, "What are you even writing about? What is there to brag about?"
He just doesn't get it.

Every time I watch A Beautiful Mind, I see a kindred spirit in there.
Especially that part where they just want to skip the flirting and get straight to the intimacy.🤣 🤣 🤣
That's just how I am.

Hi there, my name is x...x and I live with schizophrenia.
I’ve been hospitalized 11 times now—three times at a local community hospital and eight times in specialized psychiatric facilities.
It's estimated that there are over 60 million people worldwide dealing with schizophrenia.
A friend of mine, who also lives with schizophrenia, just stopped by to visit. Honestly, she’s a bit more intense than I am.
I find I can connect with her much more easily than with people who don't share this experience. It isn't just about the diagnosis; it's because we simply see the world through a similar lens.

I really enjoy driving.
I'm a fan of a good movie.
I enjoy intimacy.
I love hitting the dance floor to disco music.
I also love taking long road trips, mostly just so I can sit back and gaze out the window.

Who knows, maybe some of this will actually be useful...

Actually, I think Vincent van Gogh dealt with schizophrenia rather than bipolar disorder.

😠 😠 😠 😠 😠 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

I honestly can't deal with all this nonsense anymore—this idea that I'm supposed to just "overcome" my illness or somehow magically start producing insulin on my own.
