No, actually, I headed straight back to San Francisco to visit La Perla after my trip to Sinj. Once you've experienced one genuine La Perla dress, everything else just feels incredibly cheap and tacky, haha.
That said, the selection in Sinj is actually fantastic, and all three boutiques are right near you. Mila, Annmarie, and I—well, I think it's Joseph, though I can't be entirely certain about the third person's name—all swear by them.
What I was rambling about earlier was the $2,500 price tag. $1000 And from what I've gathered, even the cost of a dress seems to fluctuate based on when you plan to wear it; I'm still trying to wrap my head around why they'd factor timing into the price.

Do you happen to have any idea what the price range looks like for standard cakes at delta / Bobis? I assume it all depends on my specific tastes, but I’m just looking for a rough ballpark figure.
Also, does anyone know where I can pick up those little plastic dessert trays for guests without breaking the bank?
Has anyone heard anything about the jaglac florist? I know Radan is fantastic, but does anyone actually know what their pricing is like?
And finally, if anyone could recommend a singer for a church ceremony, I would be incredibly grateful.

I realize this is a bit of a barrage of questions, but I would truly appreciate any insight you can offer.🙂

As for delta / Bobis, I'm really not sure; I usually just go to Viadela, and their prices start around $33 and go up from there—it's likely pretty similar over at delta / Bobis too.

If you're looking for plastic serving trays, your best bet is probably at Nirsa; they often give you a decent discount if you pay in cash.

Regarding the florists, I haven't a clue about the pricing, but I'm sure one of the other ladies will chime in soon enough.

Hopefully, that helps you out just a little bit.

That's great, thanks so much for the help with these details, Hvalaaaaaaa 👍

Thanks, you've been a huge help. 😉 Every little bit of info helps.
I actually stopped by Bimita today, and they suggested it would be best to head down to their main facility in stinica to hammer out all the details for the purees. As for the cakes, expect to pay anywhere from 100 to 150 dollars $57 depending on the size, though they mentioned there might be some wiggle room on the price if you order in bulk, which is why they want everything coordinated down at stinica =)

Well, even DideT isn't much help here, which is exactly why we're all hanging out—to lend a hand where we can =)

So, I have a quick question for you all :P

Here’s the vision: a wedding with about 50 guests, an officiant right there on-site—maybe just outside the venue—with full catering service. Looking at June or maybe August, somewhere in the San Francisco area or the surrounding outskirts.

My big question is: any location recommendations? I'm looking for restaurants that boast a beautiful garden or beach access, and obviously, a view of the ocean. Any and all suggestions are more than welcome!

The ballet school seems like a solid option—they might be open to negotiating a private dance recital if we push for it. The appetizers look decent and the location is prime, though I suppose we should probably double-check the details before committing.
Grasso bracera
Grasso Bracera is an absolutely stellar restaurant, though if they ever considered serving pit BBQ out in the garden, the location would be nothing short of genius. I’d also suggest double-checking whether they actually stick to that outdoor grilling setup during the peak summer months.
The Radisson sitting up there on the plateau.
It’s possible that at the LaMeridian lav, they might be open to checking some things out and working out a deal.
The storm hit Podstrana hard, just like that time Neva caught us all off guard during the summer gale.
I might even go as far as checking out spots like Mario over in Podstrana.
Podstrana gusar
So, those are a few of my ideas floating around. I honestly have no clue if any of them actually work for a barbecue, but the general vibe I was aiming for was just summer, sunshine, heat, and great food. 🤣
I hope I was able to help=)

Thank you so much 🙂

I had actually considered the ballet school; I'd love to have the catering there, but it's always so crowded, and there are just too many people passing by the garden area for what I have in mind. I still need to scout out the other locations. Thanks a million for the suggestions!! 🙂 👍

Sorry for the wrong thread😵😵😵
I suspect the crowds at those specific restaurants might actually end up being more of a headache for you during that timeframe.
But either way, best of luck—I'm just glad I could be of some help!

Hey everyone, I’m looking for some advice. Does anyone have experience with a solid restaurant in San Francisco for a "small" wedding? We're talking about 25 people. It’s happening in August 2015, and we’re really big on having an outdoor terrace with a romantic vibe—honestly, a view of the ocean right by the beach is a must. So far, we checked out the Dvor restaurant and it looks awesome, but we’re still hunting for other options. Thanks a ton!

Maybe a wedding at Sustipan, with the Grašo restaurant located just right below it.
Or check out the Jure restaurant in Podstrana. You could do the whole ceremony right on the beach in front of the place.
I'm not entirely sure if "the woods" is still doing weddings, but if they are, a forest ceremony (Ovčice-Firule) followed by a reception in the restaurant would be a vibe.
Also, how about a seaside ceremony followed by the reception over at Benedict.

Does anyone happen to know where I can find the croquant catalog online?☕
My husband and I have come up with this somewhat wild idea regarding how we’d like our croquant to look, so I’m just trying to figure out if it’s actually doable. If not, I’ll need to start looking into some alternatives.

Check out Zenit's Facebook page, or just reach out to them directly—they can pretty much bring anything you imagine to life.

Hey ladies!
My fiancé and I are heading out to California next week to visit family for our engagement announcement—and since we haven't had any luck finding an ivory wing-tip collar shirt here in Indianapolis... I was wondering if you could suggest some shops we should hit up while we're in San Francisco?
Please help!! 🙂

Bracera has an incredible view, a great beach setup, a nice terrace, and honestly, the food is totally worth it.

Check out Mister Mot in the Muslim building, and there are also two shops in the downtown mall, though I can't remember their names—maybe one is NASA?

Thanks so much! 🙂 The numbers over at NASA just aren't adding up, so we'll probably skip that spot... 😢
