I don't mean I think it all the time,
but honestly, I don't think it's healthy to go down that road,
because at the end of the day, it’s just pure intolerance.
We can't just expect everyone out there to have the exact same blueprint for life that we do.
But man, when I catch myself listening to some 12 or 13-year-olds, or even those 15 to 17-year-old kids... it’s actually hilarious.
And look, I was exactly that same way back in the day, but now? I look at them and feel like they haven't a clue and are just being ridiculous (even though I'm definitely not exactly "old" myself, but still)...
The more we convince ourselves that nobody else is acting "normal," the more that becomes our reality.
Everyone always has some crisis they consider massive,
and if there aren't any actual major disasters happening, people will just find something else to complain about—like how someone else seems to have it easy, has the job, the family, the sex life, and everything... so they'll just pivot back to whining about some other nonsense.
We really need to try and understand people, whether they're going through the ringer or just dealing with their own stuff... you can't just label others as "not normal" because they're getting tripped up by everyday stupidity. We're all human, and we all constantly crave more and more and more... they aren't the weird ones; we're the weird ones to them,
and that "weirdness" is nothing more than different personalities, habits, and ways of living...
it's not an immediate mental breakdown or anything.
It's not like everyone except me is losing their minds.
Because if everybody is crazy, then I guess I am too.
Why wouldn't I be?! Based on what criteria?!
