Manna said:It’s such a surface-level realization. Every time I try the mantra, it just brings everything to the surface, and I feel like there's this constant bubbling up preventing me from actually diving deep. But maybe that's just because I don't get how it works on a different level... overall, I’d definitely want the mantra... but that comes down to the Guru... I want to level up this state of mind, but I'm missing the mantra itself...

You aren't missing it. When the time is right, it'll come to you. 😉

Neither too early, nor too late.

So, you looking for mysticism? 🙂

Just listen to that meditation tape—honestly, I think it's the best one out there. It's got everything. 😎

Man, just listen to all of them. 😁

And honestly, there might be a reason he’s keeping it there. More isn't always better, you know? 😉

Seriously, just listen to all of them.😁

But man, I really do need this... I've been having these visions since I was seven years old, and I've just been waiting to move past it—it's driving me crazy... that's actually why I joined the FBI...

Are you saying you need it, or do you just think it would be good for you?

Look, I told you where to look if that works for you. 😁

Look, I basically know what my issue was—but honestly, it feels stupid to harp on it when we all know what I gained from that Yogi Berra guy... it’s probably just my own dumb biases at work... especially since even that inspiration likely came from him... anyway, now that I know, I’m adding this to my practice... 😉, I can't wait to get home...

You think it was from your mantra or actually yours?

It doesn't have to be the same thing. 😉

I'm starting to get the feeling it might be worth asking the Boss 😉

And it doesn't even have to mean anything, crazy V. 😉

Sophia Jones61 said:That’s exactly why you’re feeling those specific effects—it's because you're focusing so heavily on your breath.
If you shifted that focus toward your heart, the experience would feel totally different—much deeper on an emotional level.
Focusing on the forehead, on the other hand, tends to bring more mental clarity and all that good stuff.

Meditating on the Unknown while keeping the mantra centered in your heart is a great practice, especially if you're trying to work through karma. I've even heard some groups suggest that beginners shouldn't jump straight into certain advanced techniques (since traditionally, you meditate on the Unknown through one of those two specific centers).

But honestly, none of that really matters when you realize:

harer nama harer nama
harer namaiva kevalam
kalau nasty eva nasty eva
nasty eva gatir anyatha

I even heard some folks say you shouldn't jump into Ayni meditation unless you've already leveled up—traditionally, you're supposed to meditate on the Unknown through one of those two specific centers.

But honestly, none of that really matters because:

harer nama harer nama
harer namaiva kevalam
kalau nasty eva nasty eva
nasty eva gatir anyatha

There’s definitely a catch, though. What's the point of being totally enlightened if all you can do is wander aimlessly through the woods?
And hey, trying to love everyone and everything is basically just "normal" behavior at this point.

So there you go, some classic Vedic wisdom for ya. Pretty wild, right? 🙂

But this mantra keeps bubbling up to the surface, and honestly, it feels like a sort of static interference preventing me from diving even deeper. I think it's because I don't quite grasp how it works on a different frequency... I really want to build upon the state I've already reached, but I feel like I'm missing the core mantra. I’d love to sit down and have a real heart-to-heart about this with a Yogi Berra...

Well, the Dalai Lama actually recommended breath-focused So-Ham meditation, which is pretty much the standard traditional way to go... 🤔

Hmm, you're onto something there... though I'm not exactly heading to a Vipassana retreat just to lose my mind and have you blaming me for it. 😬

Well, there you go, you actually answered 😁

Or maybe Vishnu just stepped in as the barber (Sennanavi? 🤔 ) and shaved the king back to health after he lost his mind 😉

Basically, he just took over your forum duties for you 🙂

Or maybe Vishnu just stepped into the role of the barber (Sennanavi? 🤔 ) and shaved the king to cure him of his baldness 😉

Basically, he just did your job on the forums instead of you 🙂

Who knows? Maybe he took over as moderator to stop certain people from committing a Ramakrishn apradh and saved them from eternal suffering 😈 😂

Shifting Proportions During Meditation
is essentially the bedrock of magic.

If you’re performing the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram and you aren't feeling that sense of infinite extension—that feeling that you're stretching out forever—then something isn't clicking.
It’s actually enough of a distinction to show the gap between simple meditation and true magic.
For actual magical work, you need a meditative foundation first—a steady base where we can then take that magical trance and push it even further through ritual.

Lately, I've realized that my own workings only really hit the mark if I can use that magical momentum to shift my sense of proportion beyond all known cosmos and voids.

aha... any meditation that actually manages to go deep is pure magic. 😉

In case anyone’s actually curious... I’ve felt this weird shift in body proportions before. Not like getting buff or anything, but more like an elongation effect—it’s as if my arms, resting on my knees, suddenly feel miles away. As for meditation, I just stick to my own method: sitting still and focusing entirely on myself. It’s a solid way to go, provided you can actually pull it off.

Pretty handy if you can actually pull it off.
