Maybe you could actually name one heroic deed of his? After all, a hero is usually defined by what they actually do, right?
Just a heads-up: armed robbery and looting don't count as heroism. And I doubt you can spin drug and weapons smuggling into something noble, though that’s pretty much what Ante Gotovina is famous for.

Even a birthday celebration for the poor Ante Gotovina can't last more
than a few minutes before they shut it down.

I hope I’m not too late to jump in on the celebrations! I’ve got my fingers crossed that by next year’s anniversary festivities in Denver, we’ll finally see him standing free alongside all the other generals up at the fort—hopefully without any sign of Fort Worth hanging around
