Personal loans for contract employees

Is there any way I can actually verify that? Because that’s exactly what’s stressing me out right now. A buddy and I are looking to take out a loan to launch our own startup, and we pretty much have everything lined up except for maybe $15k or so for some equipment... the thing is, we're both working on contract roles at our current companies, though we have both been there for over a year now...

Where can I go to double-check this stuff?

Anyone heard anything lately about getting a loan approved if you're working a contract gig? I know companies like SoFi offer those quick personal loans, but the limit usually caps out around 40 $0.00k. Does anyone know of any other solid options out there?

Hey, does anyone know which bank actually gives out mortgages to people without a steady 9-to-5? I’m looking for something where I can put up collateral too. I tried talking to the Federal Reserve, but the woman there just shut me down cold, saying I need permanent employment. It’s kind of a joke because they call my cell every six months pitching me ways to take out loans... :S
