I’m not depressed. I’m just restless.
Why can’t we just be honest and say: "This is what I’m living for, and once I hit that mark, everything changes"? We aren't here just to check boxes—collecting material goods, chasing a specific type of romance, raising kids, or building a corporate ladder. It isn't enough.
Life follows a pattern. People are born, they live, and they die. You can break it down into three distinct phases:
1. From birth until you finally wake up and start living a conscious, self-directed life.
2. The actual living part—where you act with intention and acquire what you set out to get, whether that's wealth or spiritual growth. Most people spend very little time actually enjoying this stage.
3. If we define this by retirement or age, this third phase is where depression sets in and where we start looking back at the first two.
So, in this final stretch, will we actually be happy because we checked off our goals? Or will we sit there wondering where seventy years went? Even if we built a family, a reputation, and a career, we eventually face the reality that it was all for nothing because we disappear. And those after us disappear too. The only people who truly leave a footprint are the ones who were either exceptionally gifted or exceptionally wicked—and even then, they are rare. The world moves forward because of individuals, yet it stays stagnant for the masses. Think about that paradox: the masses live lives shaped by great individuals, while those great individuals exist solely because of their own talent. It’s a closed loop. If we can figure out how to break that cycle, we might actually get closer to understanding the purpose of existence.

Yeah...
Two points.
1. What defines 41? Or is it 41 plus 1?
2. We aren't going to solve the question of meaning just by jotting down important details on paper. No matter how much we differ, we’re all cut from the same cloth in the end. Meaning is subjective—it hits everyone differently. That part is universal. If anyone ever actually answers that question, we'll end up living on eternal hunting grounds or rolling green pastures with endless meadows. People build their own version of paradise, but they can't do that until they grasp what it is that actually connects us all.

*3*7 . That’s the whole point of existence. One is an island unto itself. Look at the math. 1*2*3*7
Personally, I’d throw in a few integrals to spice things up.🙂

In my view, Elezović fits the bill much better.🙂

Ravana,
in your upper depiction regarding the "meaning of life for a woman," you might have subconsciously omitted 🙂, which makes me somewhat concerned about your orientation once you reach adulthood. 😁 🙂
