I just showed up and dipped—honestly, I think I just muttered something like, "Hey, I'm here on stage, so don't go thinking we don't have lives outside of these R&D meetings" 😁
There wasn't any time or space for those deep, heavy speeches 😁

How many people? I'd guess maybe two hundred... but hey, I'm terrible at estimating crowds 😁

Lollobrigida’s set and those balloon antics were such a blast! Such high energy! 🙂 But man, that awards ceremony... talk about a total buzzkill.
It completely killed the vibe. They really should have kept things moving—it felt way too dragged out.

I honestly think they should’ve just handed out all the awards right at the start and then kicked off the party. Making us wait until midnight—if I remember correctly—just created this massive, pointless lull in the energy.

But look, let's be fair. The hosts were basically volunteering their time for this whole thing, so if you take that into account, it actually turned out alright enough.😁

And for the record, Sidewalk Sid definitely should have been running the whole show. In my humble opinion, the guy has actual talent, style, and a sense of humor. He's a huge step up from some of the other people who tried way too hard and ended up being totally cringey..

I mean, Sid is the man, and honestly, he was pretty hilarious. The only one who let me down was Linden with that performance.

I have no clue why the squad didn't catch fire. Maybe it’s just because it's the first time and everyone was playing it safe (some people wouldn't even use their handles).

Anyway, Parsifal, you really should've shown up.

Man, I'm bummed I missed out on Ravana and didn't get to see Dijimidi either.

Yeah, totally agree on Sudden Sid. Honestly, instead of wasting time praying they’d suddenly wander onto the stage to claim their awards, they should have just put their names on the big screen or something. It would've been way more efficient.

But hey, if nothing else, I think today's spike in new sign-ups proves people are still hooked. I know I am.🙂

Personally, that whole crowd there was just total garbage. I don't go to those forum meetups for fun—I only showed up to grab my stuff and get out so I could head to the next thing.😁

Well... let’s just say it wasn't lacking in spirit, but it certainly lacked in wit.

However, there was no shortage of gossip material—as anyone can see from this social thread and all the juicy rumors flying around. Ultimately, those who had a group to hang out with enjoyed themselves. Those who showed up solo managed okay if they crossed paths with someone decent... but as for the party itself? It was pretty lackluster.

Simone is a fantastic individual and deserves a standing ovation from me... though I suppose others deserve credit too... even Debbi was great. She added a certain flair to the party and gave us plenty of gossip to chew on. Ha, someone has to play the flirt, after all. 😁
