In my estimation, though, when it comes to measuring success, luck, or general fulfillment, the real culprit is our tendency to compare ourselves to the masses and engage in constant competition with them. The only competition worth any actual merit is the one we hold against our own past selves—which, mind you, happens to be the most grueling contest we will ever enter.
If we focus on our own potential and individual growth rather than looking at global benchmarks, there is always room to evolve. We always have room. If we stop staring at how much better off we are compared to the rest of the world and instead look inward, that’s where true progress begins.
Don't get me wrong; this isn't an argument for being miserable. One should strive for happiness, certainly. But being happy doesn't mean lying to yourself and deciding there's no point in striving for greatness just because we happen to live better than the average person on the planet.

And it’s not even crap!!! This was actually a pretty decent read... plus, I'm totally with Tony on this one. Working for a giant firm isn't some universal benchmark for success,

BUT WE NEED TO REMEMBER THAT WE CAN LOOK AT OUR LIVES DIFFERENTLY—LIKE A GLASS HALF FULL INSTEAD OF CONSTANTLY STARING AT THE EMPTY HALF! 🙏
