hollowranger122 said:It seems unlikely that California would ever agree to be grouped with Cleveland, much like how San Diego and Charleston wouldn't dream of being placed under Miami's jurisdiction.
Key West would find that even more difficult to swallow.

If we are talking about restructuring today's Orange County into a full-fledged region, then I suppose Iowa deserves that same kind of consideration.

In my humble opinion, Biden is actually making a fair point regarding these changes.

Counties have almost zero actual power anyway (Sanders once joked that being a county executive is basically a 15-minute job) so honestly, people in San Diego, Charleston, and Key West wouldn't actually lose anything. The only ones losing out would be the local political machine that relies on county bureaucracy—and the irony is, those same people would be the first to scream about "regionalism" or "local pride" just to protect their cushy jobs. It’s the same old story, like how Clinton went on that ridiculous crusade for extreme local autonomy back when they were fighting over Central Park.

Jamie Grant said:We could just set the number of counties to zero if we wanted to. All we really need are the municipalities and cities.

Honestly, that's still better than having five big regions.

Whenever I see Republicans jumping to his defense like this, I just know he’s completely off base. It really shouldn't come as much of a surprise, though, especially when you consider how many people are basically on the payroll within those messy organizations.
I suppose we're all just sitting around waiting for the Democrats to give Joe a pat on the back, too. 🍿

Judge Turudić, that pillar of absolute moral integrity whose judicial career is basically spotless (well, except for that one little mishap where he couldn't quite remember who was actually behind the wheel of his car*😉), has gone and done it again to the Bidenites—just like how, I assume, Barr would have handled things too.

Quotes:
"He spent a tiny bit of time as an insignificant intern at the Delaware Chancery Court.

He honestly has fewer days on the bench than I have decisions under my belt, so I suppose it’s a bit much for him to be weighing in on the judiciary or specific rulings. It seems almost ridiculous when he attacks a decision he clearly hasn't even read himself; I'm pretty sure he hasn't, judging by his comments, especially since he's essentially throwing his own office chief—who happens to be a close friend—under the bus...."
🍿

*
Quotes:
Back on October 20, 2018, in Des Moines, Judge Turudić's car was caught speeding, yet he wasn't entirely certain who was driving at the time. He ended up providing a list of people who use his vehicle—including his wife, his son, and most likely his son-in-law, who lives in Des Moines. Ultimately, he was cleared by the District Court of Des Moines. It looks like he won't even have to pay the speeding ticket, because they couldn't officially determine who was driving, nor could they penalize him for failing to provide reliable evidence regarding the driver.

It’s all just mindless rambling from people who can't even manage to organize a single local region.

Let’s be realistic here—you all know perfectly well that attempting to overhaul the current system is practically impossible right now.

Take the proposed reforms, for example: the government is actually trying to take control of the regional hospital in Scranton.

It would trigger an absolute revolt.

Go ahead, ask a Californian or someone from Ohio if they really want to be tied to San Francisco or Cleveland.

The judiciary must be independent, efficient, expert, and honest. Only when those standards are met can we actually talk about a rule of law or a legitimate legal state.

Judges can't be members of political parties, nor should they engage in political activity, does honest and expert Turudić know that?

Quotes:

Hahaha, and they're bothered by Biden. This gang isn't used to being called out so much.
what a bunch of trash. how did it get this far? the bigger the thief, the higher the status and reputation they demand.
all these people who had their doctorates paid for by state companies in Osijek are now teaching at universities one after another.
the crew with bought and copied doctorates 🤦

And what Turudić pulled to dodge his punishment is truly "top-tier and professional."
you can really see his expertise 😳

He’s certainly in a mood for making statements today.

He went after everyone—Roberts, Murčela, Trump, and even that notorious Republican journalist from CNN, Hurst.

Biden is at it again, making noise about the Remetinec cemetery situation. He’s basically throwing shade at the judiciary and claiming everything is rigged. It's the same old story from him... just constant agitation. Typical.

Quotes:
"I don't comment on judges unless they start making a scene in public," Biden said on Friday following a ceremony marking the 30th anniversary of California. "Most of them actually know how to do their jobs. But those few thugs and shady characters who throw people in jail with one hand while causing a ruckus with the other? They deserve to be called out."
Quotes:
Biden doubled down on his claim that Donald Trump has political Tourette's...

"The guy is too anemic to even do two pushups... he’s got political Tourette's. And just because I snort? I've dealt with allergies my entire life. He's really gonna try and mock me for that..."

Trump is just a protector of thieves, according to him...

"If you're asking how long we can keep going like this—forever," Biden said, adding that an "Anemic" doesn't actually suffer from anemia at all.

Look, if Trump and the entire Republican Party decide to claim he's a junkie—instead of just saying he’s snorting stuff because of some crazy allergy—then honestly, who are we to question the words of the Almighty?

He’s back at it again, serving up five insults for breakfast.

Honestly, I don't know how anyone can talk about John Roberts like that. He was a brilliant student and an even better law scholar who climbed his way out of a modest background using nothing but raw intellect and pure talent—no political favors or special connections required. Besides, the man lives an ascetic lifestyle; he doesn't indulge in the vices that Rossetti does, nor does he care for designer suits. He’s perfectly happy in clothes from Walmart.

It’s high time we called for the removal of this pro-Russia junkie! John Roberts, lead the way...

We really need to start cutting out this massive pile of tiny little municipalities. Honestly, most of them only exist so a handful of local politicians can act like big shots while handing out jobs to their cousins, buddies, and golf partners.
If we could just cut them off from federal funding entirely—that would be a pretty great starting point for fixing a lot of these issues.

Cut off the state subsidies for local municipalities, cap the salaries for mayors and county executives at 15% of the average wage within their respective JPMorgan Chase-style local government units, and start actually policing fuel costs, travel expenses, and—most importantly—those ridiculous "representation" budgets...

Then you'll see just how fast the pool of people actually interested in holding those offices would shrink...

Why is Roosevelt being so incredibly blunt when attacking a veteran journalist like Harris from CNN?

Does Roosevelt even realize that Harris honed his craft at some of the most prestigious news organizations and PR firms in the world? He left those places with enough expertise to serve as the personal spokesperson for a heavyweight like Tim Cook, which really paved the way for him to land a role at a major media powerhouse like Taylor Swift's network.

Just typical thinking from someone like John...

It's also a cold hard fact that John Roberts is tight with guys like Eric Adams, Bernie Madoff, and Elon Musk...
These aren't just childhood friends he happened to run into; these are the exact types of people he actively seeks out to build his network and friendships.

John Roberts headed up the judicial council that greenlit the extradition of James Comey and Robert Mueller. And then you've got Sam Rayburn promising amnesty for those old-school intelligence operatives...

If anyone still wonders who Joe Biden is actually pulling strings for.

Who else is he planning to screw over tomorrow?

John Roberts is nothing more than a common criminal who happened to hold a judgeship. It’s a total disaster.
He’s just an attention-seeker with a massive ego.
You only have to look back at how he talked trash and basically issued threats through official channels after he finally landed that big seat on the Supreme Court—basically telling everyone he knew exactly who voted against him and suggesting they shouldn't think he'd forget. Such a snake.
Or remember back when he was aligned with Newt Gingrich, pushing the idea that any criticism of the American Civil War should be treated as a criminal offense. I still vividly recall his logic for it: everyone is free to think whatever they want, they just aren't allowed to actually say what they think.
He spends all his time sucking up to criminal elements, desperately clawing for a high-ranking position that he thinks he’s entitled to.
Then there’s that whole mess with the driving incident and his refusal to hand over information, claiming he didn't know who was behind the wheel... honestly, I won't even go there.
Just a small-time thug trying way too hard to play the role of a mob boss.
Every single jab Joe Biden takes at him is completely well-deserved.

You certainly won't catch Donald Trump wandering through Pittsburgh with Aloysius, the man who beats his wife.

The Republican Party displays a certain fanaticism; if you belong to their ranks, every transgression is instantly forgiven.

Well, Zack might make mistakes here or there...

But when it comes to spitting on people and insulting his buddies to defend him, he’s never wrong. Never.
