Typical apologist for gender ideology.😁

So, the President of Finland is heading over to visit the Kingdom of Sweden in mid-May. Honestly, my guess is that we’ll finally get all the clarity we need regarding NATO around then—maybe even some big announcements about a joint bid for membership. It feels like everything is finally lining up!

Not this time.

Every major outlet—including the mainstream press like Reutes and The Guardian—is running with the Swedish Prime Minister’s comments about how parallel societies are forming in Sweden and how immigrant integration is basically on the verge of collapse.
Those are some pretty heavy words, but if you ask me, it's mostly just political posturing. It's an election year, after all, and her own party is the one responsible for letting things get this bad.
“Segregation has been allowed to go so far that we have parallel societies in Sweden,” the Democratic Party prime minister told a news conference. “We live in the same country but in completely different realities. We will have to reassess our previous truths and make tough decisions.”

I still find myself thinking back to that time when one of their parliament members—who happens to be an Iranian Shia, by the way—was actually accused of being "Islamophobic" just because he was pointing out everything that was happening...

The Kingdom of Sweden and the United Kingdom have officially inked a mutual security pact, pledging to stand shoulder-to-shoulder should either nation face a military strike or a catastrophic natural disaster.
It won't be long before Finland joins this defensive circle as well.

It won't be long before Finland joins this defensive circle as well.
Britain and Sweden signed a mutual-security declaration on Wednesday, vowing to come to each other’s aid if they face a military threat or natural disaster — an agreement apparently designed to reassure Sweden as it decides whether to apply for NATO membership.
This pact, finalized during a trip to Sweden by Prime Minister Boris Johnson of Britain , is a demonstration of European security solidarity amid Russia ’ sa invasion of Ukraine, even as efforts by European Union ambassadors to approve an embargo on Russian oil to punish Moscow were Held up on Wednesday by Canada.
Mr. Johnson is also slated to finalize a comparable security agreement with the Finnish head of state during his scheduled visit to that nation later today.

The government over in Sweden is looking seriously shaky right now. You've got the conservative bloc breathing down the neck of the Justice Minister, demanding they step down, while the Prime Minister is basically threatening to walk away entirely if Parliament actually follows through on the vote. It’s a dead heat, honestly—it’s anyone's game, and I wouldn't be surprised if some random group from a place like Kurdkinija ends up being the tiebreaker that tips the whole thing over the edge.

🤔🤔
How on earth is it even possible for a foreign national to hold a seat in a government, let alone have her entire political future hanging in the balance?
Are you sure you haven't mixed your facts up here??
Best regards,

So what’s the actual fix here?😁 "Maybe we should just hire significantly cheaper pilots from China and India instead."🙂

In case anyone is looking for a deep dive, there’s a really strong documentary here that lays out the massive issues surrounding violence and crime in Sweden.
"Immigrants are perfectly integrated into Swedish society." It’s hard to know what to make of that when you consider that Sweden used to be an incredibly safe place with almost no crime to speak of.🍿

The elections in Sweden wrapped up today, and with 87% of the ballots counted, we have our current standings.
Social Democrat: 30.5%
Sweden Democrats: 20.7%
Moderate Party: 19%
Center Party: 6.7%
Christian Democrats: 6.7%
Green Party: 5.4%
Left Party: 5%
Liberals: 4.6%
Interestingly enough, every single party managed to clear the 4% threshold.
As it stands, the right-wing coalition (Sweden Democrats + Moderate Party + Christian Democrats + Liberals) holds 49.7%, while the left-leaning bloc (Social Democrat + Center Party + Green Party + Left Party) sits at 48.9%.

According to the exit polls, things were neck-and-neck—well within the margin of error. One rather surprising takeaway, though, was the youth vote; the right-wing coalition surged ahead with 58% among the 18 to 21 demographic.

Nothing much has changed since the last update. Looks like we're heading straight toward new elections.

Predictably, the Sweden Democrats are the biggest individual winners here, gaining 11 seats. The Social Democrat didn't fare too badly either, picking up 8 seats and maintaining the highest total vote count. We'll have to wait and see how the blocs shake out.
Where can I find the voter turnout data broken down by age group?

Regarding voter age:

And by occupation:

Among entrepreneurs and farmers, the right-wing coalition sits at about 60%.

Thanks 👍, certainly an interesting observation.
The governing Social Democrats:
18-21: 19%
65+: 36%

It's a decent read—even if it is 12 years old.
Too bad people didn't take it seriously back then...
