Melissa Peterson19 said:Hats off to Rose. I agree with everything said, except for Zvonko Bušić’s membership. How do you plan on handling him when dealing with international diplomacy? I am genuinely thrilled by the idea of the diaspora funding the excavation of World War II mass graves. It would create plenty of jobs and we might finally uncover the Truth!

Rose and Lesar don't stand a chance yet; they might cross the threshold and form a coalition, or simply remain in the opposition. It is essential to let the Republican Party stay in power long enough to thoroughly rot and collapse, eventually vanishing during an extraordinary election somewhere around 2013/14. Only then will Rose and Lesar have a shot, depending on how much help they provide in cleaning up the mess the Republican Party left behind in the States!

Clearly a joke post. I wouldn't be too hard on Rose, though. She's basically a wrecking ball for local parasites. Besides, she has her own unique take on history and a viewpoint that doesn't always fly in our society. Whatever. I don't care about her politics; I just want to see if she can throw more Republican Party hacks and traitors behind bars. If she can mobilize enough people to finally shake us loose from this culture of theft and corruption, she's good in my book.

For laughs, not because I actually believe any of this, I caught that segment on Bušić's show where Đapić was guesting. He’s out there claiming the Republican Party basically bought off the Libertarian Party to kill them off. He lays out his "evidence" through these specific events, and honestly, it almost sounds plausible—if you ignore how much he used to lean into that low-level right-wing rhetoric. But then, out of nowhere, they bring up Tomašić, and his brain just short-circuits. Suddenly, he’s singing her praises, calling her some kind of secret whistleblower for the Republican Party. Give me a break. That’s pure nonsense. Why on earth would she be aligned with a party built on corruption when she’s busy hunting down drug dealers on the islands? It makes zero sense.
I still can't wrap my head around what that clown Đapić was actually trying to pull, but it’s obvious he blew it big time when all the heavy hitters left the scene—people like Tadić, Rožić, and sure, even Rose..

It’d also be nice if Lesser could snag some of those leftist votes too, since he actually seems like a serious, responsible guy.

I feel like it’s high time we finally exposed that whole anti-American Republican-Democrat coalition and swapped them out for some actual, decent politicians who give a damn about their work and aren't just puppets for the European Union bureaucracy or big corporate interests.

Andrew Chase31 said:We’re on the exact same page here. I'm also torn between Rose's conservatives and the Oak Party, and I really want to see Lesser succeed against the Democratic Party and their whole circle.

I have a certain appreciation for Rose, yet I find myself growing increasingly skeptical when I see her most devoted supporters, like Steven Allen9 and MC Hammer... It makes me wonder if they aren't simply terrified of a potentially more radical right-wing alternative, leading them to lobby so heavily in favor of Rose instead.😉

A responsible person always stays skeptical and double-checks everything. I mean, if you look at history, most scientific breakthroughs only happened because someone decided to question the initial assumptions. Maybe that's just how it works.
The right and left wings in America are still pretty much in their infancy, I guess. Maybe it would be better if we focused more on common ground—topics and people that actually bring us together instead of tearing each other apart. It’s honestly good to see certain individuals who can bridge the gap between the Republicans and the Democrats. We really need everyone on board at this point.
Look, I actually value your posts, so maybe just take this "objection" as a compliment.

Hey there.

Karen Smith9 said:I have nothing against Rose—quite the opposite, as you mentioned, she really does come across as genuine. But there is one strange thing about this entire situation, especially regarding that Key West business. Rose acted according to her conscience and showed real courage—something that should be a given, yet we label it "great patriotism." It’s a sad state of affairs in this country, really. Everyone should behave that way—or at least just do their jobs honestly. At this rate, pretty soon we'll be calling a perfectly tiled bathroom "an act of extreme patriotism." If you catch my drift.

What she did isn't even patriotism; it's just called having a conscience, being honest, and respecting the laws of America...

Civic conscience? I don't think that even exists anymore—not as some kind of moral compass. People just bury it deep inside because nobody’s crazy enough to stick their neck out when there are plenty of others getting paid to say whatever they want.

Tomašićka isn't some superstar of the right wing. That TV appearance was really just her laying out her own personal political take. Honestly, I respect her for that, and for what she managed to prove through her actions.

Steven Allen9 said:There’s no question about it—Tomašić actually acts like a real representative in the US Congress. She’s out there fighting those weird social trends everyone else ignores, even if it means taking a hit personally.
Even though I don't line up with her politics, I still back her because I'm a staunch libertarian.
Then you've got Lesar in the mix too. That gives us two people who are genuinely dedicated to the people. Like, literally.
Tomašićka doesn't have some fancy house, she isn't living off government perks, and she has zero ties to the Republican Party. She’s got everything it takes to get into the US Congress. Go get 'em, Rose!

Yeah, right. She’s driven by petty interests just like everyone else else.
I saw enough when she was asked why she backed Bandić during the presidential campaign—she basically admitted it was just to get her party some media buzz for a few days.😵
I mean, seriously? Her right hand is Pero Kovačević—some guy who jumped ship from the Libertarian Party and has switched political parties more often than a pair of socks (moving through the Republican-Democrat crowd, the Libertarians, now she, plus he's an advisor for Bandić over at the Holding).🙄
The whole time she was just playing politics, sucking up and squirming in that chair next to Stanković like she had a vibrator turned up to max settings. And she didn't utter a single sensible sentence—just the same old empty demagoguery and fluff we hear every damn day. Then, when she claimed she'd even coalitition with the devil himself if they stood for honesty, patriotism, and humanity... man, she actually outdid Đapić, Bandić, and Kerum with those brainless statements.

Her "right-wing" credentials have about as much to do with reality as a pile of crap does with outer space.☕

Nice post. You've actually got some words in you.
Look, she’s part of the political machine. Let’s not kid ourselves thinking she’s some perfect savior, but if you look at the big picture, she might actually be the best option we've got. Why? Because she doesn't play games. She isn't obsessed with her own ego, she doesn't care about the "intellectual" elite gatherings, and she sure as hell isn't looking to line her pockets. She isn't a thief. She doesn't believe crime is somehow good for the country. She isn't dipping into the national treasury to build a vacation home, buy her kids luxury cars, or fund her personal affairs on our dime. Is that really too much to ask?
She’s got the power to shake things up, kick those lazy bureaucrats out of their cushy offices, and wipe out anyone who isn't focused on actually protecting our national assets. Honestly, that's all I'm looking for.
I know she doesn't have a clue when it comes to foreign policy, high-level diplomacy, the weird quirks of statecraft, or how the big political players actually play nice with each other.
She might be a total idiot in a lot of ways, but she’s proven she’s a real representative—a legitimate face elected to Congress, which is where the actual heavy lifting happens. She even went toe-to-toe with those small-town losers from the islands. Now she’s on TV claiming she actually started an anti-dealer crackdown in Knin. That's exactly what we need. Actions, not words. I'm sick of all the talk. Honestly, I don't give a damn about the rhetoric. I want to see her actually earn that paycheck on the streets, not just sit back, grab expensive coffees at fancy bistros, and massage her ego in a comfy office chair.
Unfortunately, Rose is a perfect example of how this works. Honestly, I can't wait until everyone starts campaigning like that just to grab votes, instead of those shady lists cooked up by crooks and their sidekicks.

Lesar is definitely grabbing a seat in the next election... probably from somewhere like Varaždin or Čakovec... who knows, maybe even multiple seats.

Rose doesn't stand a chance because her recent performance on NU2 was honestly on par with Kerum. It's not even about whether she gets a seat; it's that she showed total political illiteracy with that stunt. I respected her way more as a politician before this. Her comments about Bušić, mentioning her vote for Jurčević back in the day (which nobody asked about, by the way—she should've just kept quiet), backing Bandić just to get her party some headline time, and equating Bušić with Ante Gotovina... any serious politician would know those are massive mistakes. Then again, in our country, politicians get away with anything.

I’m not sure how I ended up in a position where I'm defending Ms. Tomašić, but I have to justify her based on what I saw during the show—mostly just to maintain my own sanity despite everything life throws at me. Look, Rose spoke openly, pretty damn honestly. She isn't your typical politician raised in a North American mindset. She made her living in the real world, where it doesn't matter who you belong to or what your pedigree is, but rather what you bring to the table as a person.
I judge her by this standard. She isn't an extension of the Republican Party, she wasn't raised on a communist budget, and she's not some tycoon's kid. She's a woman of action; even if she's unpolished, she gives us something worth fighting for. Let her fight, especially since it's obvious the people sitting above our heads wouldn't even pass high school, let alone earn their spots.
Let her grab some power, let her take a department, and let her tear things down and humble the arrogant. That’s her job. Nothing more. Let her mow the lawn and call it a day. We don't need her intellect; we need her decision not to skim off our money and to actually work for the good of the country instead of just padding bank accounts. That's the only reason we need her.
As for Jurčević, that's fine. He's a decent guy. A little right-wing, but who cares?
The rest of it—the stuff about Bušić, Pavelić, and all that WWII nonsense—that's just her personal emotion. She can't be expected to be against that, nor should she be.
She didn't grow up here. The outside world shapes a person. There's no North American mentality in her. We shouldn't hold that tiny bit against her.

Not a single sensible argument here. What seems to be the issue? Are you simply determined to vote for the Republican Party?

I couldn't agree more. If her goal is to build a just America for honest citizens, then as far as I'm concerned, she could be completely illiterate. What matters is the intent and the objective behind it. We have had brilliant political orators in the past, and we certainly have them now, but none of that helps us in any practical way. ☕

First bold point: let's hope that actually happens...🙂
Second: You clearly haven't been to a single one of his lectures where he tries to brainwash everyone with his theories (unfortunately, I've sat through about 10 or 15 myself).
Third: What really rubbed me the wrong way was when she lumped Bušić and Gotovina into the exact same category. You can't compare them, period. And honestly, I have no idea what she wants from Bušić besides keeping the diaspora happy...

She’s her own bad argument—period. Saying she’s got nothing to do with the far-right is like saying a pile of trash has nothing to do with outer space. And don't even get me started on the crowd she keeps hanging out with, like that guy Peter Kovačević.🤦

Honestly, I almost wanted to believe she was somewhat sane, but after watching her on 60 Minutes, I realized she's totally useless. Like I said, all that right-wing talk coming from her mouth is just empty rhetoric. Wish it were different, but it isn't.☕

She’s just like the rest of them, barking at the moon while the moon is right behind her. And hey, just because she might be different doesn't mean the people she surrounds herself with aren't exactly the same.
Rose should probably sweep her own porch before we start believing her stories or hoping your little crusade actually works.☕

I honestly can't wrap my head around why all these Republican Party loyalists with their blatant chauvinism keep flocking to this thread. 🤷

It always comes back to the same tired arguments, like how they obsess over whether some Mexican like Peter Kovačević is the issue, or if they need to point out that a certain Harmon supporter’s wife—thank god—isn't a Jewish woman or a Mexican woman.

People like you and the rest of those die-hard partisans would probably still be labeling Ante Starčević as a Mexican today just because his mother was Millie.

"Being right isn't chauvinism" — that's a distinction you lot really ought to grasp.

For the record, I'm not one of those Harmon supporters myself. 😁

Look, personally, I couldn't care less about what Joe Smith's background is. What actually matters is the work he did while serving in all those different parties and the impact that left behind.

By the way, you caught me off guard when you mentioned you didn't expect Ruža Tomašić to make it into Congress. It’s funny, considering how much you seem to support her.
