The distinction lies here:
Hitler had a mustache, whereas Bush does not!
Hitler understood the difference between Canada and Slovakia, but Bush certainly did not!
Everything else is just minor details; they are essentially the same thing, though clearly quite different matters entirely.

How was he supposed to know anything about Canada when he couldn't even make it to forty-five? 😂

mistycyclist5 said:Alright, let's look at this... if you ask me, there isn't any meaningful difference between these two figures, because...

Did Hitler kill civilians? YES
Did Bush kill civilians? YES

Was Hitler an imperialist? YES
Was Bush an imperialist? YES

Did Hitler torture civilians and suspected dissidents? YES
Does Bush torture civilians and suspected dissidents? YES

The guilt of the people...

Did Hitler come to power through democratic means? NO
Did Bush come to power democratically and then get re-elected? YES

Go ahead, give me your thoughts... but I truly believe there’s no distinction here, other than the fact that Bush rose to the presidency by the will of the people and was subsequently voted back into office.😛

not quite

I mean—maybe—but Hitler wasn't really an "imperialist"... he was more of a (national) socialist, I guess

And don't forget Bush is famous for claiming the USA makes most of its export money abroad...

Honestly, this comparison is brain-dead. Bush is just some tool playing mouthpiece for the energy and military lobbies moving billions through the USA. Those guys are the ones actually running the show, not some president. Everything he does is for them; he's nothing but a puppet. Those lobbies would take out Obama if they had to.

Why don't the OP try comparing Hitler to what I just said about Bush? Actually, better yet, maybe they should stop trying to be deep and just go try picking up girls instead...

He turned into a dictator, and a huge chunk of the German population simply wasn't having it—at that point, Professor, democracy was already out the window.

Of course there is a distinction; it is perfectly obvious.

Hitler acted upon his own ideologies, whereas Bush merely pursues vague, speculative conjectures.😁

There’s a few key differences here...
Hitler was out there murdering Jews, while Bush just plays the protector.
Hitler didn't hide his intentions—he went after them straight up and said, "I'm taking you over, period."
But this absolute lowlife? He uses this whole "war on terror" excuse to line his pockets while he slowly takes over the world...

It’s night and day
Even with all his mania, Hitler didn't come off looking ridiculous or making those goofy gestures, unlike this other guy.

Even the Germans didn't love Hitler for all his stupidity, just like plenty of Americans don't care for Bush.

But Bush plays nice. Hitler wouldn't have. Bush eats his Cheerios and takes a cookie from Condoleezza because she asked him to. If it were Hitler, he’d probably just order her to eat it... take it or leave it... otherwise, execution. Oops, wouldn't even be Condoleezza around, since she's Black.

Bush has a wife. Hitler was married to Hitler's Germany... and he was always a bit of a mess when it came to women.

Bush's dad was a former US President. Hitler had an uncle who was basically his father, or maybe his mom's uncle, whatever.

Bush got a top-tier education; he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Hitler was just a frustrated, talentless loser.

And let's face it, Bush is way better looking and more charming than Hitler.

Most importantly? I'd actually grab a beer with Bush. Not with Hitler.😂😂
