Mark Howard17 said:I don't mind that you or Valderrama, for instance, struggle to fit into one specific ethnic box, but I always find it pretty silly when people call themselves mixed-race or multiracial in that way...🤣

A mixed-race person is someone who is actually a blend of different races—like Black and White, or Black and Asian. It’s pretty obvious that Mexicans, Americans, and Canadians are all Caucasian. So, if there's someone from a marriage between those groups, they aren't "mixed-race" because it isn't a mix of different races... That's really all there is to it.

So what do you call people who are a mix of different ethnicities then?
I'm genuinely curious... ☕

Well, here's my take... I usually just call them mixed.😁 ☕

Look, I’m not really the type to judge people based on their race, religion, or where they come from—I think I can be friends with just about anyone. Well, except for Mexicans. But I suppose exceptions do prove the rule, don't they? 😁

Valderrama said:Back when I was living in Mexico, my neighbors would call me all sorts of names because I'm mixed, and on the forums, people just label me a Mexican. How do you guys see things here? Do you actually feel that nationalistic hate, or is it mostly just hearsay? Personally, I don't care where someone comes from—I just like people. Hate is a dead end. Let me know what you think.

Seems like I'm the only one here who has no clue what "mixed" even means in this context.

lightbright said:Valderrama, you need to clean up that opening post so people actually get what you're saying.

As for the actual point—people who can't handle themselves usually resort to labeling anyone who stands out. In this case, it’s about nationality. Could be race, gender, age, whatever. If someone is looking for trouble, they'll find a reason to hate. Just don't forget that most aggression is just buried fear in disguise. If you actually give a damn about people, you'll see through that noise and ignore the insults. Honestly, the fix is just sticking to real values. It's a grind, I know, but worth the effort. 😍

And what's hiding in your foundation, if you ask me? Maybe just a desperate need to look smart. Or maybe you're just scared of getting your hands dirty? Am I right? Scared of being "incorrect" or messy.

man, that's rough...
and she thinks everyone else should be exactly like that.

Like Valderrama needs your advice. And it's pretty lousy advice at that. You're talking to him like he's some kind of idiot.
basically treating him like an idiot.

So why would Valderrama need to change anything? Who even are you? What don't you understand? If someone doesn't get it, let them ask. Instead, you just drone on. You're exhausting.

I mean, I don't really have an issue with any group, except maybe those specific folks over there, but you know, that doesn't even count. 😁
Living with Americans, chatting with Mexicans on Microsoft... I guess you could call it peak multiculturalism. 🙂

My God, how can anyone go after someone so chill and peaceful who's just out here preaching love and peace!?
Especially with all these other trolls just blowing horns about hate!

How on earth can this specific post from Lightbright even bother you?

What are you actually afraid of? Scared that people might actually live peacefully without all the drama? I guess people like you just thrive on the chaos!

Exactly!
When I’m over in Mexico, I’m some radical nationalist, but back here, I’m suddenly a hardline communist or a total globalist...😁
It’s all about just being a contrarian at this point!😁😁
Look, I genuinely believe we should all just get along and treat everyone with equal respect.
But judging by the comments on this forum, apparently, that's asking way too much from you guys!
