Is it just me, or does the energy during these early training camps feel a little bit forced? I was scrolling through some clips earlier and seeing all the fans showing up to watch basic drills and conditioning. I get it—loyalty is great and the optimism is infectious—but sometimes it feels like we're all just collectively pretending that every single tackle or sprint is a sign of a championship run.

I remember back in my college days, everyone would lose their minds over practice sessions like they were the Super Bowl. It’s a bit of a mental trap. You get your hopes up in August, start planning your viewing parties and buying the new jerseys, and then reality hits in October. It’s a rollercoaster that’s hard to ride when you’ve been a fan for decades.

I love the community aspect of it, though. There's something special about being around people who care as much as you do, even if the "live updates" are just people shouting at players who are just trying to get through a heatwave.

Do you guys actually get hyped during this time of year, or are you more of a "wait until the regular season starts" kind of person?
