Is it just me, or is the money side of sports getting out of hand?

I’m starting to feel like modern sports are less about the actual game and more about chasing the highest bidder to pad out the coffers. It feels like every major club is constantly hunting for that next big injection of capital to stay relevant. Do you think this constant push for new investors actually helps the team, or does it just strip away the soul of the sport?
