I was scrolling through some sports feeds this morning and realized how much of a roller coaster this time of year is. It’s that weird limbo where you’re either incredibly pumped for a fresh start or just deeply skeptical because you’ve seen too many "rebuilding years" turn into absolute disasters.
Every time a new season approaches, there's always that specific group of fans who act like this is finally the year everything changes. I remember back in my early twenties, I used to stay up way too late following every single transfer rumor, convinced that one specific signing would be the magic bullet. Now? I usually just sit back and wait for the actual results to start rolling in before I let myself get excited.
It feels like the stakes are always higher than they should be during the summer, but the actual momentum doesn't hit until the games actually matter.
Do you guys get genuinely hyped during the off-season, or are you more of a "wait and see" type of supporter?
