Is it just me, or does it feel like every time we try to save a few bucks on food delivery, the "savings" are just a bait-and-switch for a subscription we didn't ask for? I remember when you’d just use a code, get your discount, and call it a day. Now, it feels like you have to jump through a dozen hoops or sign up for some monthly membership just to avoid paying a massive premium.

I caught myself the other night staring at my phone for ten minutes, scrolling through endless lists of "deals" that all required a specific user status or a new account. By the time I actually found something that worked, I was so hungry I just gave up and made a sandwich. It’s like the whole system is designed to make you feel like you're winning while they're actually just hooking you into a recurring billing cycle.

Does anyone else feel like these constant promotional cycles are actually making it harder to save money rather than easier?
