Lionel Messi to be the next national team coach?

If he’s actually serious about going into coaching, I honestly think he’d be a phenomenal manager—mostly because of that incredible vision he has while he's out there playing... it's that kind of tactical awareness that translates so naturally to the sidelines. Huge respect to Ollie, Mario Mandžukić, and the rest of the crew, really, I do... but I’m convinced Luke would be the very first—and arguably the absolute best—coach out of everyone from that 2018 World Cup roster.

Alex is gonna be the next head coach if the Russian MVP lets him have the job. If he can't pull it off, then we might as well just call in Santa Claus.

Great players rarely make good coaches—they're too busy comparing everyone to their own glory days to ever be satisfied...
