Is it just me, or does the stress level of fantasy sports go through the roof once we hit the final stretch? I feel like I spend all season setting a solid lineup, only to have everything fall apart right when the playoffs approach. Suddenly, you're scouring every corner of the waiver wire like a maniac, praying you find that one breakout performer who can actually carry a roster through the postseason.
I’ve definitely been burned before by chasing the "hot hand" only to realize I overpaid for a guy who was just riding a lucky streak. It’s such a fine line between being a genius manager and just being desperate. You start looking at players who aren't even household names, hoping they've finally found their rhythm at just the right moment.
Does anyone else have a specific strategy for the home stretch, or are you all just living on the edge and grabbing whoever looks even slightly promising?
